NEW ORLEANS, La. (pacathletics.org) - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2025-26 All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams, released Monday, were highlighted by eight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) programs, as well as 13 individuals.
Among the eight programs included were five women's teams. Saint Vincent College's 3.79 team GPA led the way for conference schools, ranking fifth among the 213 Division III women's programs on the list, while Waynesburg University (3.66) tied for 40th and Allegheny College (3.58) tied for 77th.
Three men's programs earned All-Academic Team recognition, with Saint Vincent tying for 39th among 165 programs honored with a 3.47 cumulative GPA to pace PAC programs.
The 13 individuals recognized as All-Academic Athletes had outstanding years in competition as well as the classroom throughout both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Individually and as part of relay teams, the group combined to play a role in six outdoor PAC event titles and four indoor championships. Washington & Jefferson's Claire Anderson was a big part in those accomplishments. In addition to winning two indoor and a pair of outdoor PAC Championships, Anderson also qualified for NCAA Championships in both. She earned Second Team All-American in the 5,000 at the national indoor meet by placing 14th.
Anderson then collected two First Team All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, taking third overall in the 10,000 and sixth in the 5k.
