The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 9 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Lexi Zanic • Geneva • Senior shortstop • Beaver Falls, Pa./Beaver Falls
Zanic led the Golden Tornadoes to a 5-1 week, batting .632 with a .895 slugging percentage ... She totaled three doubles, one triple, 10 RBIs, and eight runs scored over the week ... Zanic opened the week by going 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs in a win over Hiram, followed by a 3-for-5 performance against Grove City that included a double, an RBI, and two runs scored ... Against Bethany, she went 4-for-7 in the split doubleheader with another double, then closed the week with four RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Franciscan on Senior Day.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Cheyenne Piper • Westminster • Sophomore • Latrobe, Pa./Ligonier Valley
Piper went 2-0 across three appearances (two starts) with a 0.45 ERA and 28 strikeouts ... She threw her first collegiate perfect game in a six-inning win over Thiel, striking out eight while facing the minimum ... She also added 2.2 scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts in game two of the doubleheader ... She closed the week with a complete-game win over Waynesburg, striking out a season-high 15 while allowing just one earned run on three hits ... Piper improved to 15-3 on the season and continues to lead the conference with 154 strikeouts.

Anthony helped lead Westminster to a 5-1 week, batting .500 (7-for-14) with three RBIs, 10 runs scored, and a .611 on-base percentage ... She recorded four hits, including two doubles and a triple, in Wednesday’s doubleheader at Thiel, then added two more hits, drew two walks and scored four runs in Saturday’s sweep of Waynesburg ... Anthony has now reached base safely in 12 straight games.

PAC Records & Milestones
Bethany's Emma Jackson set the program single-season home run record with her ninth of the year against W&J on Friday ... Waynesburg sophomore Meysa Heitmann (Morgantown, W.Va./Univeristy) eclipsed 100 collegiate hits and set Waynesburg's single-season hits record (54) against Penn State Behrend, while senior Braylee Corbin (Petersburg, W.Va./Petersburg) set the Waynesburg single-season home run record by collecting her eighth against Saint Vincent ... Two-time defending champion Westminster earned the top seed and will host the 2026 PAC Softball Tournament. The six-team double-elimination tournament begins Thursday with No. 4 Hiram vs. No. 5 Waynesburg (10 a.m.), followed by No. 3 Bethany vs. No. 6 Saint Vincent (12 p.m.). Westminster will face the Hiram/Waynesburg winner at 2 p.m., while No. 2 Geneva takes on the Bethany/Saint Vincent winner at 4 p.m. For the full schedule, click here.
