Week 8 PAC Honors (for games played April 13-19)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Molly Shelley • Geneva • Junior center fielder • Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point
Shelley helped the Golden Tornadoes to a 6-0 week, going 11-for-25 (.440) with an .800 slugging percentage, recording nine runs, six RBIs, three doubles, two home runs, and 10 stolen bases ... During a road sweep of John Carroll, she finished 5-for-7 with two home runs, three RBIs, three runs scored, and three stolen bases ... She followed that with a 3-for-9 performance in a sweep of PAC opponent Chatham, adding two RBIs, two runs, and three stolen bases ... In game two of Geneva’s 5-0 win, Shelley recorded the 139th stolen base of her career, setting a new program record in her third season ... She is five stolen bases away from breaking the single-season program record of 48, which she set last year.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Cheyenne Piper • Westminster • Sophomore • Latrobe, Pa./Ligonier Valley
Piper went 3-0 last week with two complete games and a 0.00 ERA ... She struck out 27 batters without issuing a walk over 15.1 innings of work ... She opened the week with her second straight one-hitter, striking out 13 in a 13-0, five-inning game one win over Franciscan ... On Saturday, Piper earned two more wins against Allegheny, including her league-leading fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 game-one victory, allowing four hits while striking out nine ... She also picked up the win in game two, tossing 3.1 innings in relief and allowing just one hit while striking out five in the 7-1 win ... Piper leads the conference with 126 strikeouts.

Meidl went 8-for-12 at the plate in Grove City’s 3-2 week in PAC play ... The freshman shortstop opened the week with a 2-for-2 performance in game two of a doubleheader split with Chatham, then followed with a 2-for-3 effort and a run scored in game one against Geneva before game two was suspended ... She closed out the week by hitting .800 (4-for-5) with two runs scored in Grove City’s sweep of Franciscan.

Thiel's Mackenzie Herman set the Thiel career home run record (13) with a pair of long balls against W&J in game two Saturday ... Geneva's Sophia Tvaroch went 3-0 with a save and a 0.34 ERA over 20.2 innings across four appearances (three starts), recording 12 strikeouts and a complete-game shutout while helping the GTs to a 6-0 week, and she now leads the PAC with a 1.03 ERA and .173 opponent batting average ... W&J's Hannah Allen hit 13-for-23 (.565) with 13 RBIs, three doubles, a triple, and a home run while posting a .913 slugging percentage and .583 on-base percentage, leading the Presidents to a 4-2 week, including a 3-1 mark in PAC play ... Meysa Heitmann hit 7-for-11 (.636) with a double, triple, two RBIs, and four runs scored while posting a .909 slugging percentage and .692 on-base percentage, adding two stolen bases and error-free defense at both left field and second base to help lead Waynesburg to a 3-1 week ... Westminster's Morgan O’Brien hit .667 (8-for-12) with two doubles, six RBIs, and seven runs scored while adding two walks and a stolen base, highlighted by a pair of 3-for-4 performances, as she helped lead the Titans to a 4-0 week; her .484 season average ranks second in the league and she now has 15 multi-hit games.
