Week 5 PAC Honors (for games played March 23-29)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 5 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Meysa Heitmann • Waynesburg • Sophomore second base • Morgantown, W.Va./University
Heitmann went 13-for-24 (.542) with three doubles, a triple, three RBIs, and five runs scored across the week for the Yellow Jackets ... She went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI in game one of the Allegheny doubleheader, followed by another RBI and a triple in game two ... In the split doubleheader against Pitt-Greensburg on Thursday, the sophomore was a perfect 3-for-3 in game one, including a double and two stolen bases, then followed up with another double, an RBI, and two runs scored in game two ... Heitmann capped off the week by collecting three hits and a walk across the doubleheader against Grove City on Saturday ... She is currently on an 11-game hitting streak, which includes seven multi-hit performances.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Cheyenne Piper • Westminster • Sophomore • Latrobe, Pa./Ligonier Valley
Piper went 2-0 with a save last week, helping Westminster to a 4-0 record ... She threw a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Chatham on Wednesday, then came back on Sunday to allow just one earned run on four hits while striking out nine in a 3-1 win over Hiram ... She also picked up a save in game two against Hiram, getting the final two outs of the seventh inning in a 3-0 win ... Against Chatham, Piper retired 16 straight batters before giving up a double in the sixth inning ... She's now recorded double-digit strikeouts three times this season, totaled 20 strikeouts over 14.2 innings last week and currently leads the PAC with 71 strikeouts this season.

Dudenhoeffer hit .400 (6-for-15) with three RBIs, four runs scored, and a double during the Bearcats' 3-2 week ... She went 2-for-4 against La Roche, driving in a run with a double in the first inning and adding another RBI single in the sixth ... She followed that up by going 2-for-5 in the Geneva doubleheader with another RBI on Wednesday, then added a double in game one of the Allegheny sweep and drove in two more runs in game two.

Thiel's Kylie Heid hit back-to-back home runs with sophomore Ava Gilmore (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex) to tie the game at 3-3 and then take the 4-3 lead in the game-two Franciscan win on Wednesday ... W&J's Kaylee Witner successfully recorded her 100th career strikeout to open the second of two clean innings to start the doubleheader against Franciscan on Saturday.
