CLEVELAND, Ohio (pacathletics.org) - Six Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) institutions are among the programs listed in 2025-26 Division III Learfield Directors’ Cup standings. The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) released the Division III Learfield Directors' Cup standings though the winter championships Thursday morning.
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between NACDA and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. Eighteen sports are counted in the final Division III standings (four of which must be men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball). The next highest sports (14 max.) scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
Leading PAC programs in the updated rankings is Grove City College, who is 79th overall with 156 points. The Wolverines added 56 points, tallied by senior Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) and junior Owen Hancock (Brunswick, Ohio/Westside Christian) from men's swimming and diving in the winter to their 100 points in the fall. Grove City scored 25 points during the fall in football, men' soccer, women's soccer and women's volleyball.
The second PAC program to appear in the latest standings is Washington & Jefferson College in 120th with 100 points. After scoring 25 in the fall in football, the Presidents added 50 points in men's basketball and 25 in women's basketball this winter.
Next in the rankings from the PAC is Saint Vincent College in 200th place with 44 points, followed closely by Allegheny College in 215th with 30 points. Both programs totaled their points in winter championships, with all of Saint Vincent's coming in men's swimming and diving from senior Jacob Dzurica (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) and Allegheny's points scored by sophomore Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) in women's indoor track and field.
The final two programs from the PAC appearing on the Learfield Directors’ Cup standings are Bethany College with 21 points (265th) and Westminster College with 13 points (271st). Both school's points were earned at NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships by Bethany freshman Jason Ellman (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) and Westminster first-year Aubrey Rock (Butler, Pa./Butler).
