49 Represent PAC on 2025-26 Basketball Academic All-District® Teams

Four women, two men advancing to Academic All-America® ballot

TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) was represented by 49 basketball student-athletes, including 31 women and 18 men, on the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Basketball Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Of those receiving Academic All-District® recognition, six of those student-athletes are advancing to the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration, including four women and two men.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk below and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14th for the men and April 15th for the women.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District®, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and either compete in 90 percent of their team's games or start at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Highlighting the PAC women's representation on the Academic All-District® teams with four players each were Allegheny College, Bethany College, Saint Vincent College, Thiel College and Waynesburg University. Three student-athletes from Washington & Jefferson College and Westminster College were recognized, while Hiram College had two. Franciscan University, Geneva College, and Grove City College each placed one player on the team.

Those advancing to the Academic All-American® ballot include two from Allegheny and one each from Bethany and W&J.

The men's team included a PAC-high four from Franciscan, while Geneva had three players recognized. Bethany, Hiram and Thiel each had two receive Academic All-District® attention and Allegheny, Grove City, W&J, Waynesburg and Westminster placed one each on the list. The Academic All-America® voting will include one player from Grove City and W&J on the national ballot.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, many of those honored were also standouts on the court. Fourteen were voted to All-PAC teams this past season, while seven were chosen for the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
