2025 Men's PAC Championship results
Grove City secured its 25th overall and seventh consecutive championship with 1,087 points to finish in front of runner-up W&J, who totaled 635 points. Saint Vincent completed the Championships in third place with 589 points, followed by Westminster (468), Chatham (250), Allegheny (234) and Bethany (eight).
All three major award winners from last year's championships will be in the pool and on the diving boards this week. The PAC Swimmer of the Year was Saint Vincent senior Jacob Dzurica (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield), who finished first in the 50 Free, 100 Back and 100 Free. While setting a new PAC record in the 100 back and qualifying for NCAA Championships in all three events, Dzurica became the first Bearcat to win Swimmer of the Year since Zach Baum in 2020.
Swimming his way to PAC Newcomer of the Year was Westminster sophomore Jack Katigbak (North Canton, Ohio/Lake Center Christian), marking the first time a Titan men's swimmer earned the top newcomer honor. He posted second-place finishes in the 100 Back and 200 Back and also placed 11th overall in the 50 Free and third among freshmen in the race.
Sweeping the PAC titles on the diving boards was W&J sophomore Zach Lloyd (Dillsburg, Pa./Lloyd Academy-Homeschooled), as he earned PAC Diver of the Year. Lloyd was the first President to win Diver of the Year since Theo Skoric won both diving crowns to earn the honor in 2017 after he finished first on the one-meter board with a score of 452.10 and then won the three-meter event (362.25).
2026 PAC Women's Championships Preview
Grove City pulled in the top spot in the PAC Preseason Coaches' Poll with eight first-place votes and 64 total points. Saint Vincent collected 56 points to earn second place, with Westminster earning 49 points with the final first-place vote to take third.
The 2025-26 Women's Swimmers and Divers to Watch list, released with the Preseason Poll in October, featured 19 returning All-PAC selections, including six All-PAC First Team honorees. Of the 20 events at championships a year ago, 10 individual event winners were on the list.
Four swimmers highlight the 2025-26 PAC Women's Performance List with top times in multiple events. Leading that list is Grove City freshman Abby Tweed (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk), who is top-ranked in three races, including the 50 (24.70), 100 (53.48) and 200 (1:56.87) freestyles.
After winning both backstrokes the last two years, Grove City junior Ashley Rauhauser (York, Pa./Homeschooled) enters this year's championships ranked first in both again. She posted the top times in both the 100 (59.48) and 200 (2:11.41) backstrokes at the Wheaton Invitational in December.
Two other Grove City first-year swimmers are atop the performance lists in two events each, including freshman Mollie Massella (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock), who has the top times in the 100 (58.99) and 200 (2:07.52) flys. Fellow Wolverine first-year Abigail Vance (Butler, Pa./Butler) posted the fastest PAC times this year in the 200 breaststroke (2:24.17) and 200 IM (2:11.16).
The distance freestyle events may come down to a duel between Saint Vincent junior Rachel Hutchinson (Bryan, Texas/Bryan) and Westminster junior Maddy McClain (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward). McClain is top-ranked in the 500 free (5:18.20) just ahead of Hutchinson (5:20.06). The order is reversed in the 1,650 free, as Hutchinson's time of 18:06.99 is first in the league by less than a second over McClain (18:07.19).
In the diving events, Grove City freshman Chaeli Keenan (New Alexandria, Pa./Derry) has the top PAC score on both boards this year.
2026 PAC Men's Championships Preview
Grove City secured seven of the eight first-place votes to total 56 points for first place in the PAC Preseason Coaches' poll. W&J placed second with 48 points, narrowly edging Saint Vincent, who had the final first-place vote and 46 points.
The Men's Swimmers and Divers to Watch list posted in October was marked by 13 returning All-PAC selections, including eight All-PAC First Team honorees. Of the 20 events contested at last season's championships, eight individual event winners were included on the list.
After his remarkable junior season, Dzurica is once again atop this year's PAC Men's Performance List in a trio of events. He'll be the favorite to repeat in all three of his winning events from last year, as he swam this year's PAC's fastest time in the 50 (19.84) and 100 (44.48) freestyles, both NCAA Championship provisional qualifying marks, and the 100 back (49.43).
The last two PAC Swimmers of the Year will both be in competition at this season's Championships. Grove City senior Caleb Einolf (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown), the 2024 PAC Swimmer of the Year, led four Wolverines' relays to PAC crowns and also finished first in the 100 breaststroke last year. This winter, Einolf is the top-ranked swimmer with NCAA provisional qualifying times in both the 100 breast (53.30) and 100 fly (47.63).
Two other Grove City swimmers have posted the top times in a pair of events entering Championships. They include junior CJ Mayhew (Gaithersburg, Md./Homeschooled), who is first in the 500 free (4:45.47) and 400 IM (4:10.18), while freshman George Witte (Columbia, S.C./Covenant Classical Christian) recorded the top times in the 200 free (1:40.78) and 200 back (1:56.05) this year.
A second Saint Vincent Bearcat in addition to Dzurica is the PAC's fastest in multiple events through the regular season. Freshman William Schauss (Seabrook, Texas/Homeschooled) swam times of 16:40.17 in the 1,650 free and 1:57.51 in the 200 fly, which are the quickest in those events in the conference this year.
On the diving boards, W&J's Lloyd has the top score on the three-meter board through the season and he is ranked second in one-meter diving to Westminster graduate student Gino Piraino (Export, Pa./Franklin Regional).
The NCAA Division III Championships are scheduled for Wednesday-Saturday, March 18-21 at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event will be hosted by Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corp.
