Thiel's Wightman Becomes Two-time USA Lacrosse All-American

GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Thiel College Women's Lacrosse senior Ashlyn Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) was named to the USA Lacrosse All-American NCAA Division III Honorable Mention team announced Wednesday afternoon.

Following her record breaking 2025 season, Wightman becomes a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American a week after being named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Midfielder of the Year. 

Wightman is a five-time first team all conference honoree and two-time PAC Midfielder of the Year. She led the team in goals, (113), points (134), ground balls (75), draw controls (118) and caused turnovers (32). 

She ranked first in the conference for points and goals while finishing second in all of Division III in goals and third in points.  

Wightman broke her own record of points, goals and draw controls in a season, while also breaking the ground balls in a season record. She also topped the same four categories for career records.  

All-Americans were selected by USA Lacrosse Magazine staff and contributors with input from coaches and conferences across the country.
