TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) recognizes Waynesburg University junior Julz Mohrbacher and Westminster College senior Dylan Sleva as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Scholar-Athletes for the Month of November.
Each month, the PAC is tasked with selecting a male and a female student-athletes that holds upper class status, has a cumulative grade point average (GPA) higher than 3.0, is a member of a varsity sport, and is involved in extracurricular activities on their campus. The student-athletes selected are well-rounded representatives of their schools, the PAC, and the SAAC.
The female SAAC Scholar Athlete for November is Julz Mohrbacher.
From Freedom, Pa., the junior at Waynesburg holds a GPA of 3.71 as a Digital Design major with minors in Biblical & Ministry Studies and Marketing.
She is a two-time member of the CSC Academic All-District Team for the 2024 and 2025 seasons and a two-time member of the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
This year on the soccer field, Mohrbacher earned a All-PAC First Team roster spot for the second consecutive season and was an All-Region First Team selection. She finished with 17 goals and seven assists for a total of 41 points, helping the Yellow Jackets to a historical season, ending with an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship title.
During the month of November, the Jackets extended their season by four games, playing in the PAC postseason conference semifinals and final and the ECAC semifinals and final. With a nail-biting victory in the conference semifinal against Saint Vincent, Mohrbacher helped seal the win with an assist and goal in the final 12 minutes. In the PAC final, the Jackets had 15 shots in total, including one from Mohrbacher that bounced off the crossbar. In the ECAC semifinal against Pitt-Greensburg, Mohrbacher scored within seven minutes, getting the momentum rolling for the Jackets in a game that ended with a 3-2 Jackets' win in overtime. During the ECAC Championship Game, once Waynesburg gained a 1-0 lead, Mohrbacher was dropped into the midfield to help defend for the final minutes of the game, helping seal Waynesburg's tournament title and a 3-1 record in November.
Mohrbacher is also involved in campus ministry life at Waynesburg. She is involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club, a campus ministry assistant leading a bible study for female athletes every week, a member of the Design Club, and a student ambassador for the Admissions Department on campus.

From McDonald, Pa., the Westminster senior holds a GPA of 3.26 as a Biology major with a minor in Secondary Education
For the 2025 season, Sleva was a nominee for the 2025 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team on July 15th. More recently, he was named one of the 33 Division III semifinalists for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy by The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF) on September 25th and he received the CKA SAVE Project Balanced Student-Athlete Award at a banquet prior to the Opendorse Bowl Series Nov. 21st.
This year on the gridiron, Sleva earned the 2025 PAC Defensive Player of the Year award, finishing his last season with 98 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two interceptions, helping the Titan defense allow a PAC-low of 12.1 points per game. Sleva also helped the Titans to an overall record of 8-3 and the program’s second consecutive victory in the Opendorse Bowl Series’ Extra Points Bowl.
Sleva’s November highlights include the games against Allegheny, Hiram, Saint Vincent, and Mount St. Joseph. Against Allegheny, Sleva posted a total of eight tackles, four solo and four assisted, with 1.0 tackle for loss (TFL), and an interception, helping his team to a 57-21 victory. Against Hiram, Sleva recorded eight total tackles once again, four solo, and a half sack, on his senior night, leading his team to a historic 76-0 win. In the Saint Vincent match up, the Titans continued their winning streak of 12 over SVC, with Sleva tallying a total of five tackles, four solo, and one assisted. In the final game of the season against Mount St. Joseph, Sleva ended his career with a powerful performance in the Extra Points Bowl. With a total of 12 tackles, nine solo, and three assists, a sack, and a forced fumble, the Titan senior helped his team secure a 40-21 Extra Points Bowl Victory.
That is not all Sleva is involved in, he is also a service leader. He has helped lead the Titans’ football program’s participation in the annual Toys-for-Tots drive, while assisting in the United States Marine Corps toy drive, aiding with the organization’s distribution process and he has worked with other football players to clean up local parks around the New Wilmington community.
In addition, he has served as a volunteer with the College’s Council For Exceptional Children (CEC) program and Special Olympics Lawrence Country. Sleva has also volunteered at Wilmington Area Elementary School, helping at their Field Day and annual visits to Westminster’s campus, where student-athletes run multiple activities to keep the students engaged in a fun environment.
