PITTSBURGH, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - On Monday, Chatham University and Vice President of Athletics and Recreation Leonard Trevino announced the hiring of new Head Swimming and Diving Coach, Morgan Soulia.

"I'm excited to bring Coach Soulia on board," Trevino said. "Her energy is obvious and she is ready to dig in and get going."

Soulia has previously coached at Chartiers Valley High School where she was the head coach for both the varsity and middle school teams and was the league director for Grown Up Swimming.

"I am beyond excited to begin my journey as the Chatham Swim and Dive Head Coach," Soulia said. "My goal is to build a culture that values hard work and resilience while continuing to foster a love for the sport and wanting to be the best versions of ourselves in and out of the pool. I'm looking forward to getting to know the Chatham community, connecting with the team, and bringing my energy and passion to Cougar Swimming!"

Before her time at Chartiers Valley High School, Soulia helped coach multiple different Pittsburgh Eliete Aquatics teams and multiple other club level teams. Soulia also had a decorated career as a collegiate swimmer at the University of Richmond. While there, she was an Atlantic 10 Champion in the 200 IM. While in high school, Soulia was a four-time All-American and four-time Scholastic All-American and held multiple records at North Allegheny High School.
