TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Swimming & Diving Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) released Tuesday were highlighted by 33 student-athletes from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) being recognized, including 22 women and 11 men.

Eight of those student-athletes honored with Academic All-District® recognition advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration, including seven on the women's side and one for the men's.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes swimming & diving honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk below and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 22nd for the women and April 23rd for the men.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District®, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and compete in five competitions OR finish top-eight at a conference meet.

Pacing PAC women's programs with four student-athletes receiving Academic All-District® recognition were Allegheny College, Franciscan University, Saint Vincent College and Westminster College, while Grove City College and Washington & Jefferson College had three each. The three honorees from Grove City, as well as three from Allegheny, are advancing to the Academic All-America® ballot, while one from W&J will also be in consideration.

For the men, Westminster led PAC programs with four voted to the Academic All-District® team. W&J placed three on the team, while Allegheny had two and Grove City and Saint Vincent each had one apiece be recognized. Grove City junior Caleb Einolf, who was an All-American in two events at NCAA Championships, is the lone male moving on to the Academic All-America® voting.

In addition to their academic success, many of those honored were also standouts in the pool. Nineteen earned All-PAC distinction in the water, while five were selected for the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
