TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - The 2024-25 All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Swimming and Diving teams were released Friday, honoring 42 student-athletes for their performance at February's PAC Championships.

The all-conference swimming and diving teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the PAC Championship Meet, held Feb. 19-22 at Grove City College's James E. Longnecker Pool.

A total of 19 student-athletes earned First Team All-PAC, while 18 were named Second Team All-PAC and five garnered Honorable Mention status.

Grove City, who won their sixth consecutive PAC title Feb. 22, placed a league-leading 15 on the teams, including 10 who swam to First Team honors. Saint Vincent College was next with eight All-PAC performers, followed by Washington & Jefferson College with six, Allegheny College with five and four apiece from Chatham University and Westminster College.

In winning its PAC-high 22nd title, Grove City totaled 991 points over the four-day event. Saint Vincent was second with 687 points and Westminster placed third with 421 points. Rounding out the Championship standings was Chatham in fourth (399), Allegheny in fifth (357), W&J in sixth (334), Franciscan University in seventh (263) and Bethany College (142).

Highlighting the First Team All-PAC squad is Saint Vincent senior Abby Leskovansky (Houtzdale, Pa./Homeschooled), who earned PAC Swimmer of the Year. By winning three individual events and one relay while helping two other relays take second, Leskovansky became just the second Bearcat in program history to ever win the award and first since Lauren Connors won it during the 2021-22 season.

Leskovansky individual wins came in the 50 Free (23.93), 100 Free (52.46) and 200 Free (1:55.59), while she also helped the 200 Medley Relay to a first-place time of 1:52.31. Additionally, Leskovansky swam on runner-up 200 Free and 400 Free Relays.

The PAC Newcomer of the Year was Chatham freshman Hannah Uhrinek (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield), who also earned First Team All-PAC. She claimed PAC titles in both butterfly events, winning the 100 in 58.64 seconds and the 200 in 2:12.97. Uhrinek also added a second-place finish in the 200 Free and swam on the fourth-place 800 Free Relay.

Chatham also had the PAC Diver of the Year in senior Ali Cowan (Derry, Pa./Derry Area) after she claimed PAC crowns on both boards, starting with a score of 389.25 to win the three-meter competition. Cowan then earned her second consecutive conference championship in one-meter diving, as she posted a score of 381.60 in the finals to complete the sweep.

Others who won multiple individual events to earn First Team All-PAC distinction included Grove City sophomore Ashley Rauhauser (York, Pa./Homeschooled), a three-time winner with first places in the 200 Individual Medley (2:13.41) and 100 (58.71) and 200 (2:10.37) Backstrokes. Claiming a pair of titles was Saint Vincent sophomore Rachel Hutchinson (Bryan, Texas/Bryan) in the 500 (5:19.48) and 1,650 (18:19.88) Freestyles and Grove City freshman Hadleigh McNay (Tucker, Ga./Tucker), who took first in the 100 (1:06.43) and 200 (2:25.64) Breaststrokes.

Both Coach of the Year awards went to the Chatham coaching staff. Second-year Cougar head coach James Koval, whose team improved from seventh place last year to fourth this year by scoring 188 more points, was voted the PAC Coach of the Year, while Chatham's Vic Galati was the Diving Coach of the Year after helping Cowan win on both boards at PAC Championships.

The PAC also released its 2024-25 Women's Swimming & Diving Sportsmanship Team (linked above). The PAC Sportsmanship Teams were established to recognize student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior and are an ongoing effort to recognize and encourage positive sportsmanship among all PAC teams and student-athletes.
