Week 9 PAC Honors (for events between April 8-14)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 9 of the 2024 season.
 
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Gavin Cook • Franciscan • Senior attack • Syracuse, N.Y./Anthony Henninger
Cook had 12 goals and four assists while helping the Barons go 2-0 in a pair of pivotal PAC games this week ... First, he had eight goals and two assists against Thiel ... He took 15 shots, 10 of which were on goal with eight finding the back of the net for the second-most goals that he has scored in a game in his career ... Then on Senior Day against W&J, he scored four times and assisted on two others to help the Barons pick up a 17-6 win.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Konrad Homiak • Allegheny • Junior long-stick midfielder • Hampstead, N.C./Topsail
Homiak caused five turnovers, collected nine ground balls, and scored one goal in two wins last week … He recorded one caused turnover and three ground balls in Allegheny's 22-8 win over Bethany … Homiak scored his first collegiate goal with a long pole and added a season-high four caused turnovers with six ground balls in a 15-12 win at Saint Vincent.

PAC Specialist of the Week
Anthony DeMarco • Allegheny • Junior faceoff specialist • Olmsted Falls, Ohio/Olmsted Falls
DeMarco continued his record-setting faceoff season by winning 46-of-63 faceoffs (73%) and gathering 29 ground balls in two wins last week … He won 28-of-32 faceoffs, scored once, and set a new program record with 20 ground balls in a 22-8 victory at Bethany … DeMarco added 18 more faceoff wins on 31 tries and picked up nine ground balls in a 15-12 win at Saint Vincent … He has set new single-season records for faceoff wins (166) and ground balls (86) with three games left in 2024.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Joseph James • Franciscan • Freshman attack • Herndon, Va./The Heights School
James had another incredible week with 10 goals and nine assists to help the Barons go 2-0 and climb up the PAC standings ... He had 12 points with five goals and seven assists against Thiel for his fourth, double-digit point game of the season ... Then against W&J, he scored five goals and added two assists to secure another win ... On the week, he also added 12 ground balls and one caused turnover.

PAC Records & Milestones
In a 16-7 victory at W&J, Chatham freshman Tanner Marsh posted a nine-point game (6g/3a) to set a new program single-game record ... Westminster junior Gavin Jones became the program's all-time leader in goals scored in Saturday's win at Thiel and now has 111 goals in 45 career games played.
