GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--Third-seeded Chatham University and No. 4 Washington & Jefferson College will advance to this week's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Soccer Championship Tournament semifinals after posting first round wins Saturday afternoon. 

Chatham (10-5-1) claimed a 4-0 win against No. 6 Geneva College (5-13) at UPMC Graham Field in Wilkinsburg. W&J (10-7-2) claimed a 1-0 double overtime victory against No. 5 Waynesburg University (8-8-1) at Alexandre Stadium in Washington. 

Top-seeded Westminster College (15-1-1) and No. 2 Grove City College (10-7) will host semifinal matches this week after earning first round byes. Tuesday, Westminster will host W&J at 7 p.m. at the UPMC Sports Complex in New Wilmington. Wednesday, Grove City will host Chatham at 4:30 p.m. at Don Lyle Field in Grove City. 

The title match, slated for Saturday, Nov. 6, will be hosted by the highest-remaining seed following Wednesday's semifinal results. Information on the title match will be announced after the completion of the semifinal round. 

Admission to all PAC Championship Tournament matches is $5 for adults and $2 for students, with students at PAC host institutions admitted for free with valid identification.

This year's tournament winner will also receive the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III Championship. The PAC is one of 44 conferences granted automatic qualification (Pool A) to the Division III Championship. Selections for the 64-team Division III Championship will be announced Monday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. First and second round matchups are scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Nov. 12-14.

W&J earned its first win in the PAC Championship Tournament since 2010 Saturday... It was the first match decided in the second overtime in the league's tournament since 2009, when W&J defeated Thomas More 2-1 in the semifinal round... Senior Katie Hahn (Volant, Pa. | Wilmington) scored the golden goal for the Presidents in the 106th minute... The goal was Hahn's sixth this fall... Saturday marked W&J's fifth-straight win... Junior Gabriella Lloyd (Butler, Pa. | Butler) made five saves to secure her fourth shutout of the season... W&J and Waynesburg played to a scoreless draw Oct. 13 in Washington... Junior Autumn Blair (Penn Hills, Pa. | Penn Hills) made 12 saves for Waynesburg... W&J outshot Waynesburg 29-10 (15-5 on goal) and held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Four different women scored for Chatham... Junior Greta Mort (Somerset, Pa. | Rockwood) scored in the 14th minute off of an assist from junior Maggie Toomey (Bethel Park, Pa. | Bethel Park)... Sophomore Malia Hinton (Moon Township, Pa. | Moon) scored an unassisted goal in the 44th minute... Junior Emily Harvey (Lilly, Pa. | Penn Cambria) scored on a corner kick from senior Paxton Steffy (Stevens, Pa. | Cocalico) in the 51st minute... Junior Kaitlyn Ritter (Sarver, Pa. | Freedom) closed out the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute... Junior Tyler Colburn (Marriottsville, Md. | Marriotts Ridge) made five saves for Chatham... It was her seventh shutout this fall... Geneva was making its first-ever appearance in the PAC Championship Tournament since securing full Division III membership in 2011...
