The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2026 season.

PAC Track Athlete of the Week
Carmen Medvit • Geneva • Senior • New Castle, Pa./Shenango
Medvit won the 5000 at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge this past weekend, finishing in 17:29.51 to take first place .... She defeated multiple Division I and Division II runners in the event, beating every other competitor by at least 1:14 ... Her time is also the fastest in the Mid-Atlantic Region this year by nearly 85 seconds.

PAC Field Athlete of the Week

Meghan Vadas • Westminster • Freshman • Youngstown, Ohio/Austintown Fitch
Vadas posted a pair of top-12 finishes at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge ... She registered a fifth-place finish in the discus with a personal-best mark of 41.50 meters (136-2), which is the fourth-best throw in program history ... Vadas also finished 12th in the shot put with a top throw of 11.18 meters (36-8.25).

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Zoe Puhala • Westminster • Freshman • Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair

Puhala finished fourth in the 800 at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge Saturday with a personal-best time of 2:19.31 ... It ranks as the third-best time in program history.

PAC Records & Milestones

Geneva's Allison Standish broke her own school record in the hammer throw this past weekend at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, tossing for 43.57 meters/142-11, which placed her seventh overall in the event and second among Division III competitors ... Westminster's Jenna Zendron was fourth in the 400 with a time of 58.58 seconds and 23rd in the 200 (26.29) at last weekend's Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.
