GROVE CITY, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Grove City College men's and women's programs combined to win 11 of the 13 events contested Friday at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Swimming & Diving Championships to extend their leads in both standings going into the final day of competition Saturday.
Men's Team Scoring
With six wins in seven events Friday, Grove City now has 734 points to sit in first place, with Washingon & Jefferson in second with 508 points and Saint Vincent a close third with 489 points. In fourth place is Hiram with 198 points, followed by Chatham in fifth (162), Westminster in sixth (154) and Allegheny in seventh (106).
Women's Team Scoring
Grove City's five victories Friday night gives the Wolverines 764 points and a wide cusihion overr second-place Saint Vincent with 411 points. Ranking third is Westminster with 318 points, with Allegheny in fourth (281) and W&J in fifth (238). Rounding out the team standings is Chatham in sixth (199), Franciscan in seventh (141), Bethany (11) and Hiram (4).
Men's Friday Highlights
- Grove City's first of six wins in the pool Friday was earned by senior Logan Myers in the 400 IM, with his winning time putting him more than two seconds ahead of the nearest finisher.
- The first of the four men's records set Friday was in the 100 fly by junior Owen Hancock. He repeated as the PAC champion in the event, as his time of 47.52 set a new PAC and Pool record and was also an NCAA "B" cut time. The PAC record in the 100 fly had stood since 2020 before Friday.
- A first-year Grove City swimmer earned the initial conference title of his career in the 200 free, as George Witte won in a time of 1:41.74, more than a second and a half faster than the winning time in 2025.
- The second record of the session fell in the 100 breaststroke. Grove City senior Caleb Einolf, who set new PAC and Pool records in the morning preliminary, smashed that mark in Friday's final. He posted an NCAA "B" cut time of 52.79 seconds to better the previous records for the conference by more than a half-second and the facility by a full second.
- Hancock returned to the podium for the second time on the night and third time in the Championships by winning the 100 back. His time of 48.86 is a "B" cut mark, broke the Pool record and reset the PAC record which had stood since 2015. His Friday wins along with his 200 IM championship earned Thursday give Hancock three individual crowns for the week.
- In one-meter diving, W&J sophomore Zachary Lloyd completed a sweep of both boards for the second year in a row. After winning three-meter Thursday, he posted an NCAA Regional Qualifying score of 434.82 Friday to capture his second PAC championship in one-meter.
- The only relay of the session was also won by Grove City to complete a Wolverines' sweep in the pool Friday. With a time of 1:21.24 in the 200 Free Relay, Grove City set new PAC and Pool records and surpassed the "B" cut qualifying standard.
Women's Friday Highlights
- Grove City freshman Abigail Vance started Friday off by winning the 400 IM in a time nearly five seconds faster than last year's. The win gave her a sweep of those events after she took first in the 200 IM Thursday.
- The 100 fly saw a repeat winner, as Chatham sophomore Hannah Uhrinek won for the second year in a row, winning the final by almost two seconds.
- A second Grove City freshman won her second championship for the week when Wolverine first-year Abby Tweed was the winner in the 200 Free, which she added to her win in the 50 free Thursday.
- In the 100 breaststroke, Grove City sophomore Hadleigh McNay, earned her second consecutive PAC crown by finishing in 1:07.01.
- There was a bit of a surprise in the 100 back, as Grove City freshman Mikayla Little, seeded fourth entering the final, edged out the top three seeds with a winning time of 59.48.
- Friday's final event, the 200 Free Relay, was won by Grove City and their winning time was more than five seconds faster than the second-place relay.

- Saturday's preliminaries will start at 10 am and the day's events include: 1,650 free; 200 back; 100 free; 200 breast; 200 fly; women's 3-meter diving; 400 free relays.
