Week 5 PAC Honors (for events between September 22-28)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 5 of the 2025 season.
PAC Player of the Week
Gabrielle Bassette • Allegheny • Freshman • Miami, Fla./Miami Country Day School
Bassette led Allegheny to back-to-back PAC shutout wins over Geneva and Waynesburg, as the Gators improved to 5-0 against conference teams ... She earned a 7-6 (5) No. 1 doubles victory and handed Geneva's top player her first singles loss of the season in the No. 1 spot, 6-1, 6-4 ... Bassette defeated Waynesburg's No. 2 doubles team, 6-1, and then won 6-1, 6-1, to improve to 11-0 in singles matches this fall.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Maya Hamade • Washington & Jefferson • Freshman • Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair
Hamade finished the week undefeated in both singles and doubles play, aiding in the Presidents' 2-0 week ... Hamade won her No. 4 singles match against Thiel (6-0, 6-0) to start the week and also won 6-0 at No. 2 doubles with freshman teammate Bella Graham (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) against the Tomcats ... In a 5-2 victory over Geneva, Hamade won at No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-2) and at No. 2 doubles (7-5) ... She is still undefeated in singles play at the No. 4 position with a 7-0 record on the season.

PAC Records & Milestones
Allegheny's Giada Palmieri went 4-0 in sweeps over Geneva and Waynesburg, outscoring opponents at third doubles 12-2 and second singles opponents 24-4 ... Franciscan's Kina Ehlers was a double-winner in a victory over Saint Vincent, marked by a 6-0, 6-0 decision at second singles ... Peyton Joines helped Grove City to a 7-0 Senior Day win Saturday over Mount Aloysius by winning at both third singles (6-0, 6-0) and second doubles (6-4) ... Waynesburg's Julia Corey had two wins, including a 6-0, 6-0 decision at fourth singles, against Ursuline and versus Westminster, she won 6-1, 6-0 in singles ... Westminster's Megan Blasko was 2-0 at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles in matches against Waynesburg and Mount Union last week.
