NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – The Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) and The Zone, a leading mental health and performance platform designed for athletic programs, are excited to announce the extension of their partnership, reaffirming a shared commitment to the holistic well-being of PAC student-athletes.

Building on the success of the initial collaboration, this extension will continue to provide PAC student-athletes with access to The Zone’s innovative mobile app and wellness tools. From confidential mental health check-ins and performance resets to proactive support resources, the platform is designed to help athletes thrive on and off the field.

“This partnership reflects the PAC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the well-being of our student-athletes,” said Kristin Consuegra, Assistant Commissioner for Governance & Championships. “Through our collaboration with The Zone, we are providing meaningful tools and fostering an environment where student-athletes are supported both on and off the field.”

The Zone, founded by former athletes, was built to address the very challenges that student-athletes face - the pressures of competition, balancing academics, and navigating life off the field. Through this partnership, the PAC is not only providing resources but also creating a culture where conversations about wellness and mental health are normalized across campuses.

“The PAC has been a trailblazer in D3 Athletics when it comes to putting student-athletes first,” said Erik Poldroo, Co-Founder and COO of The Zone. “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership and continue this journey together. The PAC is showing what it means to truly care for athlete mental health, so they can perform with confidence, and know they’re supported every step of the way.”

Looking ahead, the PAC and The Zone will collaborate on additional initiatives throughout the year, including workshops, activations, and community-based programming to deepen impact across all member institutions.
