PAC Athletes Collect Eight All-America Honors at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships 6/6/2025 9:30:00 AM TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) student-athletes gathered eight All-America awards while competing at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held May 22-24 at The SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. Athletes of member institutions who finished in the top eight of their respective individual events and as part of a relay team at the Championships earned First Team All-America honors. Those who finished ninth through 16th individually and ninth through 12th as part of a relay team were named Second Team All-America. Highlighting the Championship performances from the PAC contingent of 10 qualifiers was Chatham University senior Aurielle Brunner (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle). She earned All-America distinction in all three events she competed in, capping her career with 10 total All-America awards. For her first award of the Championships, Brunner finished as the national runner-up in the long jump with a personal-best distance of 6.07 meters/19-11. This tied her highest finish in any event at the NCAA Championships as she also finished second nationally in the long jump at this year's Indoor Championship meet. The Chatham senior collected her second All-America honor when she placed fifth overall in the heptathlon with 4,911 points. Her efforts in the seven-event competition featured her finishing first in the long jump portion, while also placing fourth in the 200 and ninth in the high jump. Brunner's final All-American award of her career was earned in the triple jump on the final day of the championships. Her mark of 12.33 meters/40-5.5 placed her third overall out of the 22-competitor field and gave the Cougar senior her 10th All-America award in her remarkable career. Three others from the PAC also secured First Team All-America accolades with their performance, which included Grove City College senior Lydia Bennett (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy). She recorded a school-record time of 4 minutes, 25.17 seconds to finish second in the 1,500-meter run. Bennett entered the Championships as the No. 6 seed, then took third in Thursday's preliminaries with a time of 4:26.90. Her second-place finish matches the best finish ever for a Grove City track and field performer. Jim McElhaney took second in the men's discus at the 1986 NCAA Division III Championships while Rory Phillips placed second in the javelin at the 2004 NCAA Championships. A pair of Westminster College athletes also came home with First Team All-America laurels. Titan graduate student Madison Conley (New Castle, Pa./New Castle), who entered the outdoor championships tied with the 15th-best mark, tied for fifth place in the pole vault after clearing 3.85 meters/12-7.5. A four-time national qualifier and three-time All-American, Conley was seventh at both the indoor and outdoor national championships in 2024. Also making it to the NCAA podium was Westminster graduate student Breannda Davis (Streetsboro, Ohio/Streetsboro). She earned the first All-America citation of her career after a seventh-place finish in the high jump. A four-time national qualifier, she tied her season-best mark by clearing 1.68 meters (5-6) on her third attempt at the height, which matched her season-best mark of the 2025 season which seeded her 11th entering the Championships. Three athletes from Allegheny College secured Second Team All-America status with their performances. In the hammer, senior Laila Davis (Springfield, N.J./Jonathan Dayton) had the second-best throw in the first flight, clearing 52.09 meters/170-10. After qualifying for nationals as the 19th seed, Davis finished in ninth place and earned Second-Team All-America accolades to become the third Gator from the women's track and field team to receive All-America honors in the hammer, joining Lexie Mochan '15 and Liz Earley '08. In the men's long jump, Allegheny senior Aaron Moon (Springfield, Va./Lake Braddock) concluded his remarkable senior season with a top 10 showing. Seeded 19th heading into nationals, Moon missed the cut for the final rounds by a mere centimeter, but his top jump of 7.08 meters/23-2.75 still garnered Second Team All-America honors with his 10th place finish. The third Gator to earn Second Team All-America was junior Elizabeth Lubold (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area). Competing at nationals for the second consecutive year, Lubold improved her standing from last spring by four spots, as her top throw this year of 38.01 meters/124-8 placed her 15th overall, making her the fourth Gator on the women's team to earn All-American status in the event. Joining Bennett as an All-American from Grove City was senior Ryan Lenhart (New Castle, Pa./Shenango) in the discus. Entering Championships as the 22nd seed in the 22-man field, Lenhart slid up 10 spots in the final standings after he recorded a top throw of 46.70 meters/153-2 on his third of three preliminary round throws, which was good for 12th place and Second Team All-America recognition. Two other student-athletes from the PAC competed at NCAA Championships. Bethany sophomore Caliyph McClinton (Pittsburgh, Pa./Neighborhood Academy) narrowly missed Second Team All-America accolades when his time of 10.73 seconds in the 100 placed him 17th overall. He was the first Bethany male track and field athlete to qualify for the national meet since Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed earned All-American status in 2018. Allegheny junior Chloe Bonson (Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford), who qualified for NCAA Cross Country Championships in the fall, made her second nationals appearance this year by running the 5,000. She placed 22nd with a time of 17:24.43, her third-best of the 2025 outdoor campaign, as she was the first Gator to compete in the 5,000-meter run at nationals since Emily Forner '19 did so at SPIRE in the spring of 2019.
