Week 8 PAC Honors (for events between April 14-20)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2025 season.

PAC Player of the Week
Anton Hedlund • Allegheny • Senior • Hovas, Sweden/Katrinelundsgymnasiet
Hedlund led the Gators to three shutout wins to conclude the regular season undefeated against PAC opponents and as the top seed in the upcoming PAC Championship Tournament ... He won all six matches in the No. 1 spot, losing only three games combined and outscoring his singles opponents 36-1 ... Hedlund won his No. 1 singles matches against Waynesburg and Westminster 6-0, 6-0 and also had a shutout win in doubles against the Titans ... Hedlund, who moved into second place all-time at Allegheny in combined victories with 147, has led the Gators to a 24-0 regular-season record against PAC opponents since Allegheny re-joined the conference.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Levente Mihaly • Allegheny • Freshman • Békéscsaba, Hungary/Békéscsabai SZC Széchenyi István
Mihaly helped the Gators go 3-0 with shutout wins over Waynesburg, Westminster, and W&J, finishing the PAC regular-season undefeated with the top seed for the conference tournament ... He went 6-0 and lost a mere six games combined between singles and doubles action ... Mihaly played No. 3 singles in a 6-0, retired and 6-0, 6-0 win over Waynesburg and Westminster, and jumped to No. 2 in a 6-0, 6-3 victory against W&J ... All three doubles matches came in the second spot, including a 6-0 shutout against the Titans.

PAC Milestones & Records
Aided by two wins from Aaron Heinlein, including a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 2 singles, Franciscan edged Geneva 4-3 to claim the third seed in the PAC Tournament ... Geneva's Braiden Smalley won both his singles matches at No. 1 last week, including a tightly-contested three-set battle against Franciscan, 5-7, 6-1, 10-4 ... Following their third consecutive undefeated regular season in conference play, Allegheny secured the top seed and home-court advantage throughout the 2025 PAC Men's Tennis Championship Tournament, which begins with quarterfinal round action Tuesday, April 22nd ... The opening round will feature third-seed Franciscan hosting the sixth-seed, Westminster on Tuesday at 5:30 pm in Steubenville, Ohio, with Tuesday's other quarterfinal pitting No. 5 W&J going to No. 4 Saint Vincent  for a 4 pm match in Latrobe, Pa. ... The Saint Vincent/Geneva quarterfinal winner will make the trip to Grove City for a 4 pm Thursday semifinal and top-seeded Allegheny will host the team that emerges from the Saint Vincent/W&J match, with that semifinal also to be played Thursday at 4 pm ... The semifinal winners will play in the PAC Tournament Championship match on Saturday, April 26, with that match being hosted by the highest remaining seed.
