TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - A total of 35 student-athletes from Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) programs, including 19 women and 16 men, were recognized for their efforts in the classroom and on the courts when they were named to the Academic All-District® Tennis Teams.
Two of those student-athletes who received Academic All-District® laurels will be included on the national ballot for Academic All-America® consideration, including one female and one male.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk below and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 2 for the women and June 3 for the men.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District®, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition.
Leading PAC women's programs with four student-athletes being named Academic All-District® was Geneva College, Saint Vincent College and Waynesburg University. Following with three on the list was Thiel College and Westminster College, while Allegheny College placed one player on the team. Saint Vincent's Carolina Walters will be included on the Academic All-America® ballot.
Headlining PAC men's tennis programs was Waynesburg and Westminster with four apiece on the Academic All-District® team. Geneva and Saint Vincent had three on the list, and Grove City College and Thiel had one on the team as well. Advancing to the Academic All-America® voting is Grove City's Allen Morris.
Many of those honored were also standouts on the court as well as in the classroom. A total of 14 earned All-PAC recognition this year, while six were named to the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
