PAC Track Athlete of the Week Chloe Bonson • Allegheny • Junior • Penn Township, Pa./Penn-Trafford At the Bucknell Bison Classic, Bonson delivered a personal-best performance in the 5,000-meter run, placing 10th out of a highly competitive field of 106 runners ... Bonson crossed the finish line with a time of 16:43.76, a mark that now ranks first in the Great Lakes Region and sixth in NCAA Division III this season. She now holds the 25th-best mark in NCAA Division III and stands out as one of only two athletes in the region to eclipse the 50-meter mark this season. She also placed second overall in the 200 meters with a time of 25.66 seconds, finishing as the top Division III performer in the event ... Additionally, White anchored Grove City’s 4x100 meter relay, which placed first with a time of 49.73 seconds. PAC Newcomer Honor Roll Allegheny freshman Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair); Geneva freshman Emma Thellman (Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside); Saint Vincent freshman Samantha Straub (Saint Mary's, Pa./Elk County Catholic); W&J freshman Lainey Hartner (Washington, Pa./Fort Cherry) PAC Records & Milestones Franciscan's Lauren Dosch broke her own program record in the 800, placing 23rd out of 137 runners with a time of 2:13.41, while also posting the third-fastest time in program history in the 400 (1:00.01) at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic ... Geneva's Carmen Medvit broke Geneva's school record in the 5000-meter race at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on Saturday, finishing in 17:14.83, which cut 22 seconds off Medvit's previous school record, and is also the third-best in the PAC this season and sixth-best in the Mid-Atlantic Region ... Grove City's Cayla Lawrence finished as the top Division III entrant, placing second overall in both the 800 (2:18.84) and 1500 (4:50.65) at the Westminster Invitational ... Saint Vincent's Miranda Cincotta broke the school record in the 1500 at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic with a time of 4:44.19 to finish ninth in a field of 85 runners across all three divisions ... Bearcat teammate Samantha Straub broke another SVC school record, this one in the 400-meter hurdles, as she raced a school-record time of 1:09.45 to finish in eighth place overall ... W&J's Claire Anderson posted a new personal-best time of 37:30.42 in the 10,000-meter run at the Bison Outdoor Classic and now holds the 42nd-best time in the nation and top in the conference thus far ... Waynesburg's Grace Tanksley won the 10k at the Westminster Invitational with a personal record time of 39:19.12.
