Week 4 PAC Honors (for events between January 27-February 2)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 2 of the 2024-25 season.
 
PAC Track Athlete of the Week
Lydia Bennett • Grove City • Senior • Bethel, Maine/Gould
Bennett posted a pair of school records, a win and a runner-up finish at the Youngstown State Mid-Major ... She won the 3000 meters in a field of 38 runners with a school-record time of 10 minutes, 7.87 seconds ... Bennett also finished second overall and first among Division III runners in the mile with a program-record time of 4:59.34 ...  Both times are first in the PAC this winter and Bennett's mile time ranks second in the Mid-Atlantic Region and 23rd in the country.

PAC Field Athlete of the Week
Aurielle Brunner • Chatham • Senior • Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle
Brunner finished fourth in the pentathlon at the YSU Mid-Major after scoring 3,413 points ... That total is first in the PAC this season and eighth in the country ... In the competition, Brunner was first in the long jump with a mark of 5.67 meters/18-7.25, which ranks first in the conference and the Region and 11th in Division III ... She also cleared 1.59 meters/5-2.5 in the high jump, which is third in the PAC this season, and finished third in the shot put in the weekend competition with a top throw of 9.87 meters (32-4.75).

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Imogen deBlois • Thiel • Freshman • Hubbard, Ohio/Hubbard
deBlois posted a fifth-place finish in the 400 at this weekend's YSU Mid-Major Invitational ... Her time of 1:00.21 made her the top Division III runner in a deep 50-competitor field, but also ranks second in the PAC this winter and eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region ... deBlois also posted a time of 27.51 in the 200 to finish 27th out of 82 runners and third among D3 competitors.

PAC Records & Milestones
Allegheny's Chloe Bonson helped the Gators win the Dr. Taraschke Team Challenge at Baldwin Wallace with a victory in the mile, posting a PR of 5:12.85, the third-best time in the PAC this year ...  Also at Baldwin Wallace, Allegheny's Emma Miller was second in the shot put with a season-best mark and AARTFC qualifier of 12.39 meters/40-7.75, which ties her for first in the PAC this season ... Bethany's Alexis Mahaffey broke her own indoor weight throw record in the Muskie Meet this past weekend, launching a throw of 15.47 meters/50-9.25, putting her first in the PAC, third in the Region and 47th nationally ... Franciscan's Lauren Dosch won the 800 at the YSU Mid-Major with a season-best time of 2:18.71, also the second-fastest in the conference, beating the field of 57 athletes which had DI, II, and III athletes in it by almost a full second ... Geneva's Allison Standish won the weight throw event at Mount Union's Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday, tossing 14.63 meters/48-0, the second-farthest throw in the PAC this season, which also broke her own school record, the third time this season that she has improved upon her record ... Westminster's Breannda Davis registered a fifth-place finish with 3,209 points in the pentathlon Friday at Youngstown State's Mid-Major Invitational, ranking her second in the PAC and 20th in Division III ... In the meet, Davis posted marks of 1.62 m/5-3.75 in the high jump (first in PAC and Region, T30th in country) and 5.40m/17-8.75 in the long jump (second in PAC, seventh in the Region).
