2.2.1.3 If seeds remain tied in overall conference record, tie-breaking procedures outlined in the PAC code will be followed to determine hosting rights.
If there is a tie, the criteria for breaking a tie for seeding purposes is:
1) Match results: head-to-head;
2) Comparison of the match wins of the tied teams vs. the remaining PAC teams, beginning with the highest seed and stepping down until tie is broken;
3) Set record: head-to-head;
4) Set record: total PAC competition;
5) Point differential of match(es) between tied teams;
6) Point differential of total PAC matches;
7) Coin flip.
When three or more teams are tied, the same procedure shall be followed until any team emerges or is eliminated by the process. If any teams are still tied, the procedure will be repeated from the beginning until all teams are seeded.

2025 PAC Women’s Volleyball Tournament scenarios
North
*Hiram (14-1) has clinched the top seed and hosting rights throughout the PAC Tournament regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s match.
*Thiel (11-4) has clinched the #2 seed regardless of the outcome of their final match Saturday.
*Westminster (9-6) and Allegheny (8-7) play Saturday, while Grove City (8-7) plays Geneva.
1) If Westminster and Grove City win, they both clinch tournament berths and are the #3 and #4 North seeds, respectively. Allegheny is eliminated from tournament eligibility.
2) If Allegheny and Grove City win, we have a 3-way tie for the final two tournament seeds at 9-7. In this scenario, Allegheny is the #3 seed and Grove City is the #4 seed based on combined HTH tiebreaker (ALL 3-1, GRO 2-2, WES 1-3). Westminster is eliminated from tournament eligibility
3) If Westminster and Geneva win, Westminster is the #3 seed outright. Allegheny and Grove City split HTH so we move to matching wins vs divisional opponents. Grove City is the #4 seed based on a better HTH record against #2 Thiel (GRO 1-1, ALL 0-2). Allegheny is eliminated from tournament eligibility.
4) If Allegheny and Geneva win, then Westminster and Allegheny finish tied at 9-7, Allegheny is the #3 seed and Westminster is the #4 seed based on 2-0 HTH record. Grove City is eliminated from tournament eligibility.
*Geneva (2-13) has been eliminated from tournament eligibility regardless of the results of Saturday’s match.
South
*Chatham (11-4) and W&J (10-5) play in the regular season finale Saturday, with the winner clinching the top seed in the South Division. If W&J wins, the teams both finish 11-5 and W&J wins the HTH tiebreaker 2-0.
*Franciscan (7-8) can clinch the #3 seed with a win over Waynesburg OR a Saint Vincent loss to Bethany. If Saint Vincent (6-9) defeats Bethany and Franciscan loses to Waynesburg, they both finish 7-9 and split HTH. The tiebreaker then moves to matching wins vs. Waynesburg, with Saint Vincent (2-0) earning the tiebreaker over Franciscan. Both Franciscan and Saint Vincent have clinched tournament berths regardless of the outcome of Saturday’s matches.
*Bethany (4-11) and Waynesburg (0-15) have both been eliminated from tournament eligibility regardless of the results of Saturday’s matches.
