TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) unveiled its 2025 All-Conference football teams and annual award recipients Thursday night, following a vote by the league’s 11 head coaches. The selections were announced publicly during a special reveal show on the PAC Sports Network.

Washington & Jefferson College senior quarterback Kellan Stahl was selected as the Offensive Player of the Year. Earning Defensive Player of the Year Westminster College senior linebacker Dylan Sleva, while Newcomer of Year was awarded to Westminster freshman quarterback Quentin Goode.

In his final year at the helm in Beaver Falls, Geneva College Head Coach Geno DeMarco was chosen as the league’s Coach of the Year.

After waiting his turn in line at the quarterback position for three years, Stahl guided W&J to a perfect 8-0 conference record during his first season as the Presidents’ signal caller, picking up three PAC Offensive Player of the Week nominations in the process. He led the PAC in completion percentage (69.7) and passing efficiency (173.1), marks that rank 15th and 13th nationally among qualified Division III quarterbacks. Additionally, Stahl’s 2,977 passing yards are the ninth most in the country, and his 9.60 pass yards per attempt are 12th best.

Only one quarterback in PAC history has recorded a higher single-season completion percentage than Stahl: in 2015, W&J’s Pete Coughlin connected on 223-of-314 passes for a 71.0% mark. Building on that elite company, Stahl also etched his name into the national record books during W&J’s 56–0 win over Waynesburg on October 25, completing 27-of-28 passes (96.4%) to set the Division III single-game completion percentage record.

Sleva’s Defensive Player of the Year distinction comes after the standout linebacker was picked as a Second Team All-PAC selection in both 2023 and 2024. In Week 1 of the 2025 campaign, Sleva piled up a career-high 25 total tackles, which is the fourth most all-time in a single game by a PAC player. He added three more double-digit tackle performances and finished the season with 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and 98 total tackles, which ranked second in the conference.

Westminster’s defense was one of the best in the league, with Sleva playing a crucial role. The unit finished the PAC schedule as the conference's top scoring defense, allowing only 12.1 points per game. The Titans limited opposing offenses to 251.2 total yards against per game, and gave up just 17 touchdowns throughout the season, both fewest in the PAC.

Taking the reins at the mid-point of the year, Goode led Westminster to a 4-1 record as the starting quarterback, completing 89-of-137 passing attempts (65.0%), throwing 13 touchdown passes, tallying 236 passing yards per game, and only committing three turnovers during that span. Goode picked up two PAC Newcomer of the Week accolades in his first year in New Wilmington.

Goode earns Newcomer of the Year award one year after fellow Titan teammate, defensive back Lamont Austin, won the same award in 2024. Goode and Austin become the first players from the same school to win the award in back-to-back years since Saint Vincent quarterbacks Tyler Donahue and Derek Stewart won the award in consecutive years in 2015 and 2016.

In a historic campaign for Geneva College, DeMarco was named the PAC Coach of the Year as he led the Golden Tornadoes to a 6-2 conference mark, their best league record since joining the conference in 2011. In his 33 years leading Geneva, DeMarco has compiled 173 career victories, and his 2025 offense led the PAC with an average of 344.4 passing yards per game.

After completing an undefeated 8-0 run in PAC play, W&J clinched the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament, marking the program’s first outright conference title since 2018. The Presidents will open the national championship bracket against Susquehanna in Selinsgrove, Pa. Grove City’s 8-2 overall record, and 7-1 PAC record, earned them an at-large bid to the tournament, and the Wolverines are set to take on Hanover. Both first-round matchups are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22, with kickoff at 12:00 PM.

In addition to two teams representing the PAC in the NCAA Division III playoffs, two other PAC teams earned spots in the postseason. Westminster College earned the PAC's spot in the Opendorse Bowl Series, which will be played on November 22 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The Titans will play Mount St. Joseph from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference in the Extra Points Bowl at 6:00 PM on the 22nd. Geneva College will compete against SUNY Brockport in the ECAC’s Robert M. "Scotty" Whitelaw Bowl. The final game of Geno DeMarco’s coaching career will take place in Brockport, NY on Saturday, November 22, with kickoff set for 12:00 PM.
