PAC Player of the Week

Zachary Melzar • Allegheny • Senior • Sterling, Mass./Wachusett Regional Melzar placed ninth, tied for the best finish on the team, at The Gauntlet ...He opened the tournament with a 69 (-1) on Sunday, in which he carded three birdies and 13 pars and was par or better on every hole on the back nine in the first round ... Melzar scored a 73 (+3) on Monday, equaling a two-day total of 142 (+2) ... As a team, Allegheny placed eighth of 14 in a field that included five programs who were 2024 NCAA qualifiers

PAC Newcomer of the Week

Alan Tarolli • Waynesburg • Freshman • Washington, Pa./Fort Cherry Tarolli won one event and added a top-five finish in a second invitational to lead the Yellow Jackets ... He was medalist at Bethany, taking first out of 49 with a one-over 72 ... Then on Monday, Tarolli finished fourth (of 64) at the Saint Vincent Invitational by carding a 78.

PAC Records & Milestones

Grove City's Adam Steinmetz tied for first with a 76 at Monday's Saint Vincent Invitational and finished second officially after a one-hole playoff.
