Week 5 PAC Honors (for events played September 23-29)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 5 of the 2025 fall season.
PAC Player of the Week
Luke Gronbeck • Grove City • Sophomore • Gibsonia, Pa./Eden Christian
Gronbeck had two top 10 finishes while averaging 72.5 over a pair of invitationals last week ... On Saturday, he shot an even-par 72 at Steubenville Country Club to earn medalist status in the 40-man field at the Franciscan Fall Invitational, a round highlighted by four birdies and 10 pars ... Then in Grove City's Fall Invitational Monday, Gronbeck tied for eighth with a one-over 73, which once again featured four birdies and 11 pars over the 18 holes.

Longo had the best round of his young career after shooting a 77 (+5) to tie for 23rd overall at Monday's Grove City Fall Invitational ... His round consisted of three birdies, eight pars, and Longo had a 4.75 average on Par 5 holes

Allegheny's Mekayl Maajid led all Gators at the Northeast Elite, which featured No. 19 Gettysburg, No. 22 Rochester, and many of the top teams from Regions II and III with an 11-over 153, as he shaved three strokes off his first round score with a 75 on Monday ... Bethany's Jude Smith shot an even-par 72 at the Grove City Fall Invitational with four birdies and 12 pars to tie for fourth overall, his sixth career Top-5 finish ... After Geneva's Ryan Edwards had a match-best score of 75 at the Carlow dual match Tuesday, defeating every other golfer by two strokes, he was the GT's top player at the Franciscan Fall Invitational by tying for 12th with a 79 ... Saint Vincent's David Newsom won the Grove City Fall Invitational, shooting a three-under par, 69 at the event, as he carded six birdies and shot four-under on the front nine ... Led by Newsom and three other Bearcats who fired 72s, SVC scored 288 as a team to finish first out of 16 teams at Grove City ... Thiel's Eli Nicklas shot 74 Monday at Grove City's Fall Invitational to tie for 11th place ... W&J's Matthew Morelli shot a pair of 73s last week, which tied for third at Franciscan and then tied for eighth Monday at Grove City ... Waynesburg's Matt Karpeal carded a team-best score of one-over 73 to place eighth out of 97 golfers at Monday's Grove City Fall Invitational ... Fueled by an opening round 72 Sunday, Westminster's Tyler Hager finished in a five-way tie for 24th with a 150 at The Northeast Elite.
