PAC Hitter of the Week
Jacob LaDuca • Washington & Jefferson • Junior shortstop • Clarence, N.Y./Canisius
LaDuca compiled a .500 batting average during a 4-0 week for the Presidents who swept a pair of PAC doubleheaders ... LaDuca had hits in 10-of-20 at bats, scored six runs, swiped five bases in five tries and drove in four runs ... LaDuca had a walk-off single during a four-hit game in W&J's game one comeback victory over Saint Vincent Wednesday ... LaDuca slugged his first home run of the season during a sweep of Geneva on Thursday, as he went 5-for-9 with four runs scored and three RBIs in the twinbill.

PAC Pitcher of the Week
Nick Guidas • Grove City • Senior • Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland
Guidas threw a one-hitter last Monday in Grove City's 2-1 victory over Westminster … He struck out eight, walked just one and did not allow an earned run in his complete game performance ... Guidas, who only allowed a single in the third inning, retired the side in order in six frames, including the final nine batters in a row.

Sam Bevin • Grove City • Freshman pitcher/infielderLouisville, Ky./Wake County 
Bevin hit .400 (4-for-10) last week with two doubles and three runs scored in a 2-1 week for the Wolverines … In the opening game against Westminster last Monday, he was 1-for-3 and scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch in a 2-1 Grove City win ... Bevin pitched the nightcap against Westminster, striking out 10 men and allowed two earned runs, four hits and a walk in six innings ... In the final game of the week, he doubled twice and also earned a pair of walks Wednesday in an 8-6 win at Pitt-Greensburg.

PAC Records & Milestones
Allegheny junior Mark Schweickert struck out nine while allowing just three hits in a 12-0 win over Westminster, his first-ever complete game shutout ... With two home runs and nine RBIs in a 19-14 win over Hiram, Chatham third baseman Jake Bredl set a new program record for single-season home runs (five) and single-game record for RBIs ... Thiel senior infielder Mike Sittig (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) extended his hitting streak to 13 games with a two-run home run in the Tomcats' 19-6 win over Bethany on Friday ... In that same win over Bethany, Thiel DH Nathan Prunty went 6-for-6 and scored four runs ... With eight scoreless innings of work in a 9-1 victory over Geneva, W&J sophomore Anthony Pass has now thrown 16 consecutive shutout innings.
