The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2024 season.
 
PAC Track Athlete of the Week
Miranda Cincotta • Saint Vincent • Sophomore • Emmitsburg, Md./St. John's Catholic Prep
At Saturday's Washington and Lee Carnival, Cincotta placed first in a 43-runner field in the 1,500-meter run in 4:48.49, breaking a six-year-old program record and winning by a seven-second margin ... She would then go on to add a fourth-place finish in a 35-runner field in the 800-meter run in a personal-record time of 2:20.68 and ran the anchor for the Bearcats' 4x400 relay, which ran a school-record time of 4:12.22.

PAC Field Athlete of the Week
Lexi Shiderly • Westminster • Junior • New Castle, Pa./Mohawk
Shiderly won the shot put event with a top throw of 12.77 meters (41-10.75) at the Bethany Invitational Saturday ... Shiderly's mark won the event by more than three feet in an event featuring numerous Division II competitors in the 41-thrower field ... In addition to being the top throw in the PAC to this point, it's also tied for sixth best in NCAA Division III.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Caroline Kozera • Saint Vincent • Freshman • Abingdon, Md./The John Carroll School
At Saturday's Washington and Lee Carnival, Kozera set a program record in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.91 seconds, while her time of 27.41 seconds in the 200-meter dash marked the second-fastest in program history ... She was also a part of two school-record-breaking relay performances, running on the 4x100 squad that posted a time of 53.51 seconds and the 4x400 that finished in 4:12.22.

Allegheny sophomore Elizabeth Lubold finished third out of 32 in the javelin at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Classic, trailing one thrower from Division I The Citadel and a three-time D-III All-American with a best mark of 37.15 meters (121-10), which ranks first in the PAC and 13th in Division III ... Bethany junior Alexis Mahaffey broke the school record in the hammer throw (40.68m/133-5) Saturday at the Bethany Invitational ... Franciscan junior Jessica Campbell won the 1500 at Bethany with a personal best time of 4:57.52, marking the first time in her career that she broke the five-minute mark in this event ... Geneva sophomore Hailey Carroll broke the school record in the 800-meter race on Saturday at the Bethany Invitational, winning the race with a time of 2:16.91, which is the sixth-fastest time in NCAA Division III this season ... Members of Saint Vincent's school-record-breaking 4x100 relay included Lucia Johnson (Kensington, Md./Walter Johnson), Caroline Kozera, Lauren Kozera (Abingdon, Md./The John Carroll School) and Cadence Smith (Arlington, Texas/James W. Martin), while the Bearcats new record holders in the 4x400 relay include Miranda Guthrie (Saltsburg, Pa./Saltsburg), Lily Murphy (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield), Caroline Kozera and Miranda Cincotta ... Waynesburg junior Megan Berry took first place at the Bethany Invitational in the javelin with a throw of 34.89 meters (114-6) ... Westminster senior Jess Fatigati won the 200 at the Bethany Invitational in 25.94 seconds.
