The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 7 of the 2023-24 season.
 

PAC Track Athlete of the Week

Matt Beuermann • Thiel • Graduate Student • Devonport, Tasmania Australia/Don College Beuermann set a school record for the second week in a row, finishing second in the men’s 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:47.34 at the Raider Tune-Up on Saturday, hosted by Mount Union ... In addition to breaking a 13-year-old school record, his time also ranks first in the PAC this winter ... Beuermann also placed 12th in the mile with a time of 4:31.07, which is eighth on the PAC Performance List ... He has now set two school records in the last two week, as Beuermann broke the program record in the 5,000-meter run a week ago.

PAC Field Athlete of the Week

Nate Sciarro • Washington & Jefferson • Senior • Beaver Falls, Pa./Riverside Sciarro won the long jump with a meet-record mark of 6.95 meters/22-9.75 at the Muskie Meet #4 at Muskingum on Friday ... Sciarro added a runner-up finish in the high jump with a season-best effort of 1.90m/6-2.75 ... The high jump mark ranks second in the PAC this season and the only jump better than his long jump effort Friday was Sciarro's mark of 7.00m/22-11.75 Feb. 10.

PAC Newcomer of the Week

Jake Mull • Westminster • Freshman • Apollo, Pa./Apollo-Ridge Mull finished fifth in the long jump behind only three D1 jumpers and one D2 competitor with a career-best mark of 6.25 meters (20-06.25) at Akron's Al Campbell Invitational on Friday ... He also finished ninth in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles (9.21) and was 13th in the 200 meters (23.30) ... Mull's mark in the long jump ranks sixth in the league, while his time in the 60 hurdles ranks eighth.

PAC Records & Milestones

Franciscan junior Alexander Blose placed first while breaking his own program record in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.25m/13-11.75 at Muskingum's Muskie Meet #4, which is the second-best height in the PAC this season.
