Spectators must remain outside of the track and the infield to observe the meet. At no time are spectators allowed on the track lanes or infield. Please use the bleachers. All non-competing student-athletes are asked to remain in the designated roped off area.

There was a tie for the top spot in the poll between the defending champion Grove City College and Washington & Jefferson College. W&J picked up six first-place votes, while Grove City had five and each team totaled 95 points. Coming in third place was Allegheny College with 80 points, while Westminster College placed fourth with 74. The rest of the pre-championships poll can be seen below.

Grove City, led by 2024 PAC Coach of the Year Jessica Smith, captured its first PAC men's championship a year ago after winning five event titles and scoring 140.5 team points. The Wolverines earned a 15-point margin of victory over runner-up W&J (125.5 points), while Geneva placed third with 84.5 points.

Three major award winners from last year's Championships will be back in action for their teams this year. Headlining the Athletes to Watch list is Geneva senior Kevin Arseneaux, who was the PAC Track Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row. Arseneaux opened his day by winning the mile (4:22.30), then won the 800 in a school record and PAC Championship meet record time of 1:53.06 and wrapped up his day by running the mile leg on the Distance Medley Relay team that placed first (10:39.86).

The 2024 Overall Track & Field MVP returns as well in Allegheny senior Aaron Moon after he scored points in all seven events he competed. His top finishes came in the 60, where his time of 7.00 seconds was just .02 seconds off of the first place time and he also earned second place in the long jump with a personal best leap of 23-0 (7.01m).

A third major award winner will be competing again this season in W&J sophomore Dominic Flitcraft. He was last year's Newcomer of the Year after he finished third in the 3K and fourth in the 5K.

In addition to the award winners, three others who won multiple events this year will be competing. In addition to Arseneaux, Geneva graduate student Jack Garvin also won twice for the Golden Tornadoes in the 60 and the high jump. Grove City junior Alex Mitchell took first in a pair of sprints, winning the 200 and 400, while Saint Vincent College graduate student Tim Patterson claimed titles in the 3000 and 5000.

Other returning PAC champions from a season ago include two from Grove City in senior Nick Petucci, who won the triple jump, and sophomore Michael Chambers, who took the crown in the pole vault. W&J will also have last year's champion in the weight throw in Matt Kordich back in the mix trying to repeat.

Entering the 2025 PAC Championships, returning champions are seeded first on the current PAC Performance List in five events, including Mitchell (200/400), Arseneaux (Mile), Garvin (high jump) and Petucci (triple jump).

At the conclusion of Thursday’s championships, the PAC will recognize its team champions, as well the event's Most Outstanding Performers (overall, track, field), Newcomers of the Year, Coaches of the Year and Sportsmanship Team honorees.

The NCAA Division III Championships are slated for Friday-Saturday, March 14-15 and will be held at the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, N.Y.
