Week 1 PAC Honors (for events between October 4-13)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2024-25 season.
 
PAC Women's Swimmer/Diver of the Week
Josephine Reiter • Allegheny • Junior • Pittsburgh, Pa./CAPA
Reiter started her season with five first-place swims in a pair of meets ... In the Oct. 5 opening tri-meet against Franciscan and Hiram, she was the winner in the 100 Free (1:01.56), 100 Breast (1:12.63) and helped the 200 Medley Relay take first (2:00.72) ... Then against Penn State Behrend Oct. 12, Reiter swep the 100 (1:11.52) and 200 Breaststrokes (2:38.73) ... Both of her Breaststroke times and the 200 Medley Relay are the best in the PAC after two weeks this season.

PAC Women's Newcomer of the Week
Paisley Eveland • Allegheny • Freshman • Corvallis, Ore./Crescent Valley
Eveland opened her collegiate career by winning three events in her first two meets ... She won the 200 IM in 2:36.52, took second in the 200 Back (2:28.78) and helped the 200 Medley Relay to a first-place showing in the Oct. 5th meet with Franciscan and Hiram ... Eveland claimed another first place in the 200 IM against Penn State Behrend, lowering her time to 2:34.91.

Franciscan freshman Samantha Walton (Buford, Ga./Flowery Branch); W&J freshman Amiyah White (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area); 
 
PAC Records & Milestones
Franciscan's Katarina Antonov won three events to help the Barons split the tri-meet at Allegheny to start the 2024 season, including the 1000 Free (12:02.91), 200 Breast (2:47.64) and was part of the 200 Free relay that won with a time of 1:50.90 ... W&J freshman Amiyah White won the sole diving event in the home opener against Penn State Altoona, winning the one-meter dive with a score of 290.10, while sophomore Luna Balzano took first in the 50 Free (25.83) and 100 Fly (1:04.78).
