GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org) – Thiel College Director of Athletics Jason Fautas announced Tuesday the promotion of Dylan Lasher '15 to Director of Volleyball.

Lasher will serve as the men's and women's head volleyball coach.

Lasher took over as the interim head coach of the women's team in September, where he had three Tomcats earn All-PAC Honorable Mention honors, and three players earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.

"We are thrilled with the job Dylan has done in his short time leading both programs", Fautas said. "His experience and commitment to Thiel College and our volleyball programs is something that will help enhance the student-athlete experience. We are excited for him to continue to lead both programs."

Last season, Lasher led the men's team to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) semifinals.

"I want to thank Director of Athletics Jason Fautas and our Vice President of Student Life and Athletics Mike McKinney for giving me the opportunity to lead both volleyball programs at my alma mater", Lasher said. "I am looking forward to continuing to build programs that produce leaders, scholars and champions."

The men's team will begin their season at home on Wednesday, January 17 against St. Norbert. The non-conference game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
