The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 5 of the 2022 season.
 

PAC Offensive Player of the Week

Emma Chambers • Allegheny • Junior outside hitter • Stoutsville, Ohio | Amanda Clearcreek Chambers hit .345 with 25 kills, five blocks and five digs during a 3-0 week for Allegheny… She finished the three-match stretch with 28.5 points (3.17/s)... Allegheny has now earned four-straight three-set victories… In Tuesday’s win over Westminster Chambers finished with seven kills and a pair of blocks… In a win over Thiel on Thursday Chambers hit .600 (9-0-15) with a block… In Saturday’s PAC victory over Waynesburg she hit .471 (9-1-17) with three digs and two blocks.

Other notable performers from last week

Bethany junior Olivia Koehler (Pickerington, Ohio | Fairfield Christian) totaled 36 kills (4.00/s), 25 digs (2.78/s) and five blocks last week… She had 15 kills and 14 digs in Thursday’s win over Chatham… Chatham senior Shaelah Pepperman (Bellefonte, Pa. | Bellefonte) finished the week with 131 assists (8.73/s) and 31 digs (2.07/s)... She had a career-high 57 assists and 11 digs in a win over W&J Saturday… Franciscan graduate student Renee Antonelli (Wintersville, Ohio | Indian Creek) had 39 kills (3.90/s) last week… She finished with 19 kills and 18 digs Thursday in a loss at Saint Vincent… Grove City senior Faith Keating (Troy, Mich. | Troy) totaled 29 kills (2.90/s) last week… Saturday, she had seven kills and an ace in a win at Geneva… Saint Vincent junior Luciana Polk (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Mount Lebanon) finished with 31 kills (2.38/s), 69 digs (5.31/s) and eight blocks (0.61/s) last week… In Saturday’s win over Westminster she had 10 kills, 12 digs and four blocks… Thiel sophomore Maria Torres (Boardman, Ohio | Boardman) recorded 35 kills (3.89/s) and 27 digs (2.7/s) last week, posting 11 kills and 10 digs in Saturday’s win over Franciscan… W&J sophomore Adrianna Sacrimento (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Woodland Hills) racked up 130 assists (10.83/s) and totaled 35 digs (2.92/s) last week… She posted 49 assists and 10 digs in a win over Bethany Tuesday… Sacramento's 9.70 assists per set average currently leads the PAC… Westminster junior Lauren Lampus (Sarver, Pa. | Freeport) had 16 kills (2.00/s) and 23 digs (2.88/s) last week.

 

PAC Defensive Player of the Week

India McCruter • Allegheny • Junior middle hitter • Columbus, Ohio | Hilliard Davidson McCruter guided Allegheny to a 3-0 week, including a straight-set win over Waynesburg Saturday afternoon in its PAC opener… She totaled 16 blocks (1.78/s) while hitting .300 with 17 kills (1.89/s) last week… McCruter had five kills and tied her career high with nine blocks in the victory over Waynesburg… The nine blocks are a PAC season best in a three-set match… She finished with seven kills and five blocks in Tuesday’s 3-0 victory over Westminster before posting five kills and a pair of blocks in a straight-set win over Thiel Thursday… Allegheny has registered four-straight three-set victories… McCruter’s 69.0 blocks rank third in the PAC while her .274 hitting percentage this fall ranks fifth.

Bethany junior Emma Marthins (Elkridge, Md. | Howard) finished the week with 18 kills (2.00/s) and 14 blocks (1.56/s)... She posted six kills and 11 blocks in Thursday’s win over Chatham… Chatham junior Meghan Dominek (Pittsburgh, Pa. | North Hills) had 76 digs (5.07/s) last week… She totaled 28 digs in Thursday’s loss at Bethany… Franciscan sophomore Sara Moore (Davis, Ill. | Durand) totaled 80 digs (8.00/s) last week, finishing with 28 digs in a win over Waynesburg Tuesday… Grove City junior Gabby Lucas (Butler, Pa. | Butler) had 54 digs (5.40/s) last week… She had 25 digs Saturday in a win at Geneva… Thiel sophomore Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kan. | Mineral Ridge, Ohio) totaled 76 digs (8.44/s) and six service aces last week… She logged 29 digs in a win over Franciscan… W&J freshman Piper McFarland (West Mifflin, Pa. | Cornerstone Prep. Academy) produced 62 digs (5.17/s) digs last week, posting a match-high 23 digs Thursday in a win at Waynesburg… Waynesburg junior Mickayla Baniaga (Kalihi, Hawaii | Kamehameha Schools Kapalama) finished the week with 46 digs (5.75/s) and 18 kills (2.25/s)... Westminster junior Macy Stoddard (Erie, Pa. | Harbor Creek) posted 46 digs (5.11/s) last week.

 

PAC Rookie of the Week

Alyssa Leskovac • Chatham • First-year outside hitter • Youngstown, Ohio | Austintown Fitch Leskovac continued her strong freshman campaign while helping Chatham to a 2-1 week… She finished the three-match stretch with 57 kills (3.80/s), 51 digs (3.40/s) and six service aces... Leskovac ended the week with 63.5 points (4.23/s)... In Saturday night’s five-set PAC victory over W&J she totaled 24 kills and 14 digs… Leskovac posted 19 kills and 20 digs in Tuesday’s five-set win over Saint Vincent before registering 14 kills and 17 digs in a five-set loss at Bethany Thursday night… Her 214 kills and 240.5 points lead the PAC this season.

Allegheny freshman Jacy Diaz (Barranquitas, Puerto Rico | Gallatin, Tenn.) finished the week with 63 digs (7.00/s) and nine service aces… She had 26 digs and three service aces in Saturday’s win over Waynesburg…  Grove City freshman Brooke Wirebaugh (Medina, Ohio | Cuyahoga Valley Christian) had 37 assists (3.70/s), 25 digs (2.50/s) and 11 service aces last week… She had 17 assists Saturday in a win at Geneva… Saint Vincent freshman Lauren Fox (Hinckley, Ohio | Highland) totaled 13 kills (1.00/s), eight digs (0.62/s) and 15 blocks (1.15/s) last week, posting five kills, four digs and a career-high eight blocks in Saturday’s win over Westminster… Thiel freshman Brooke Talbot (Calcutta, Ohio | Beaver Local) registered 95 assists (10.56/a) and 18 digs (2.00/s) last week… She had 34 assists and 10 digs in Saturday’s victory over Franciscan… W&J freshman Faith Fetsko (South Park, Pa. | South Park) finished the week with 47 kills (4.27/s) and 46 digs (4.19/s)... She had 18 kills and 20 digs in Tuesday’s win over Bethany… Waynesburg freshman Paige Mortimore (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Brentwood) finished the week with nine kills (1.29/s).
