The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 8 of the 2022 season.
 

PAC Offensive Player of the Week

Emma Marthins • Bethany • Junior middle blocker • Elkridge, Md. | Howard Marthins led Bethany to a pair of pivotal league wins last week, combining to hit .349 with 28 kills (3.11/s) in a four-set win over Geneva Wednesday and a five-set road victory at Thiel Friday night… Against Geneva she hit .370 with 13 kills, two digs and a pair of blocks… Friday at Thiel Marthins hit .321 with a season-high 15 kills, two digs and a block… She ranks second in the PAC in both hitting percentage (.287) and total blocks (97).

Other notable performers from last week

Allegheny junior Emma Chambers (Stoutsville, Ohio | Amanda Clearcreek) hit .349 with a combined 19 kills (2.71/s) last week against Westminster and Saint Vincent… Franciscan graduate student Renee Antonelli (Wintersville, Ohio | Indian Creek) had 21 kills and 15 digs Wednesday against Grove City… Her 3.08 kills per set average ranks fourth in the league this season… Grove City junior Anna DeGraaf (Cranberry Township, Pa. | Seneca Valley) hit .304 with 20 kills (2.50/s) last week… She had 10 kills at W&J Saturday and Franciscan Wednesday… Thiel sophomore Maria Torres (Boardman, Ohio | Boardman) totaled 35 kills (3.89/s) and 35 digs (3.89/s) last week… She posted a career-high 26 kills and 18 digs Wednesday against Carnegie Mellon… W&J freshman Faith Fetsko (South Park, Pa. | South Park) hit .292 with 29 kills (4.14/s) last week, finishing with 15 kills and a .542 hitting percentage against Waynesburg Wednesday… Waynesburg senior Kayla Stohon (Summerhill, Pa. | Forest Hills) hit .400 with 21 kills (2.63/s) last week… Saturday against Westminster she had 15 kills and four blocks… Westminster junior Saylee Grinnen (Wampum, Pa. | Lincoln) hit .269 with a season-high 11 kills Saturday at Waynesburg.

 

PAC Defensive Player of the Week

Jacy Diaz • Allegheny • Freshman libero • Barranquitas, Puerto Rico | Gallatin (Tenn.)  Diaz finished Allegheny’s 2-0 week with 60 digs (8.57/s), eight assists, four service aces and a pair of kills… She had 32 digs in a four-set win at Westminster Wednesday night… It was her fourth time posting 30 or more digs this season… Diaz totaled 28 digs in a three-set win over Saint Vincent on Saturday… Her 476 digs this season rank third in the PAC while her 5.60 digs per set average ranks fifth… Diaz’s 44 service aces are the second-most in the PAC this season.

Chatham junior Meghan Dominek (Pittsburgh, Pa. | North Hills) posted 58 digs (8.29/s) last week, finishing with 34 digs Wednesday at Saint Vincent… Her 514 digs rank second in the PAC this season… Franciscan sophomore Sara Moore (Davis, Ill. | Durand) had 28 digs Wednesday against Grove City… Her 5.90 digs per set average is third-best in the league… Grove City sophomore Audrey Donnelly (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio | Woodridge) totaled 12 blocks (1.50/s) last week… She had four blocks at W&J Saturday after posting eight blocks Wednesday against Franciscan… Saint Vincent sophomore Stacie Ramos (Chula Vista, Calif. | Olympian) had 48 digs (6.86/s) last week… She finished with 31 digs against Chatham Wednesday… Thiel sophomore Danielle Aulet (Lawrence, Kansas | Mineral Ridge) finished the week with 55 digs (6.11/s)... She registered 34 digs Friday against Bethany… Aulet leads the PAC with 640 digs and a 6.34 digs per set average… W&J freshman Piper McFarland (West Mifflin, Pa. | Cornerstone Preparatory Academy) totaled 71 digs (10.14/s) last week… She had a career-high 41 digs against Grove City Saturday… Westminster junior Macy Stoddard (Erie, Pa. | Harbor Creek) registered a career-high 29 digs Saturday at Waynesburg.

 

PAC Rookie of the Week

Gabrielle Disselkamp • Franciscan • Freshman outside hitter • Cox’s Creek, Ky. | Bethlehem Disselkamp had a career-high 21 kills in Wednesday night’s 3-1 victory over Grove City at Madonna High School… She added 17 digs and a pair of service aces in the win… Franciscan’s victory snapped Grove City’s four-match win streak… Disselkamp’s 47 service aces are tops in the PAC this season… Her 2.79 kills per set average is tied for the second-best in the league while her 3.56 points per set average ranks fourth.

Bethany freshman Carloline Mercer (Shadyside, Ohio | Shadyside) totaled 34 digs (3.78/s) last week… She finished with a career-high 18 digs Wednesday against Geneva… Chatham first-year Alyssa Leskovac (Youngstown, Ohio | Austintown Fitch) finished the week with 40 kills (5.71/s)... She had 27 kills at Saint Vincent Wednesday… Leskovac’s 316 kills lead the PAC while her 349.50 points rank second… Grove City freshman Bella Costa (Newbury, Ohio | Cuyahoga Valley Christian) had 13 kills Saturday at W&J… Thiel freshman Brooke Talbot (Calcutta, Ohio | Beaver Local) had 10 kills (1.11/s), 12 digs (1.33/s) and 41 assists (4.56/s) last week… She finished with six kills, six digs and 22 assists Wednesday against Carnegie Mellon… Waynesburg freshman Paige Mortimer (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Brentwood) had 14 kills (1.75/s), eight digs (1.0/s) and two blocks last week… Westminster first-year Rachel Brady (Columbus, Pa. | Corry) finished with 11 kills, four digs and three blocks Saturday at Waynesburg.
