GREENVILLE, Pa. (pacathletics.org)--The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its 2021 All-PAC baseball teams and annual award winners Tuesday afternoon.

The All-PAC baseball teams, along with the PAC's yearly award winners, were determined by a vote of the league's head coaches.

Washington & Jefferson College senior outfielder Adam Morris (South Park, Pa. | South Park) was selected as the PAC’s Player of the Year, while W&J junior right-hander Henry Litman (Marietta, Ga. | Walton) collected PAC Pitcher of the Year honors. W&J sophomore utility Tyler Horvat (Irwin, Pa. | Penn-Trafford) was recognized as the PAC Newcomer of the Year and W&J 19th-year head coach Jeff Mountain earned PAC Coach of the Year honors.

Through 36 games this spring (35 starts) Morris is hitting .412 with 35 RBIs and 43 runs scored. Twenty-one of his 49 hits have gone for extra bases (10 doubles, five triples, 6 home runs). Morris has a .400 average and 14 RBIs in two-out situations. His .731 slugging percentage and 87 total bases lead the league while his .490 on-base percentage ranks fourth. Morris' six home runs and five triples are also the most by a PAC player this spring.

In 26 PAC regular season games Morris hit .436 with nine doubles, three triples and five home runs. He finished with 30 RBIs and 32 runs scored during the league's regular season.

Morris is the seventh W&J player to claim PAC Player of the Year honors since 2000. This is his first All-PAC selection.

Litman is currently 9-0 (10 starts), which includes two complete games and a shutout, with a league-low 1.23 ERA. His nine victories are tied for the most in the PAC and are tied for the fifth-most in NCAA Division III. Litman ranks second in the league with a .189 opposing batting average and third with 62 strikeouts and 65.2 innings pitched. He has allowed just eight walks this spring.

In nine PAC regular season starts Litman went 8-0 and posted a 1.40 ERA. He struck out 57 hitters over his 57.2 innings.

Litman is W&J's fourth-straight PAC Pitcher of the Year selection and ninth award winner since 2009. This is Litman's first All-PAC selection. He was named to the All-Tournament Team last week.

Horvat is hitting .367 this spring with six doubles, five triples, four home runs, 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He owns the league's fourth-best slugging percentage (.653) and has reached base at a .413 clip. Horvat is 11-for-12 in stolen base attempts. He has made 10 starts on the mound, going 9-0 with a 1.55 ERA. Horvats's nine wins are tied for the most in the league, and tied for the fifth-most in Division III, while his .184 opposing batting average is the PAC's best. His 1.55 ERA and 66 strikeouts rank second in the league.

Horvat threw a 9.0 inning complete-game shutout in W&J's 7-0 win against Chatham University on April 17. He allowed three hits, struck out a career-high 10 and walked just one in the victory. In nine PaC regular season starts Horvat went 8-0 with a 1.59 ERA, striking out 62 hitters in his 56.2 innings.

Horvat was named the Most Outstanding Player at this year's PAC Championship Tournament.

The PAC Coach of the Year citation is Mountain's ninth. He led top-seeded W&J (36-1) to its 13th PAC title last Saturday. It was the ninth conference championship claimed by W&J under Mountain.

As the winner of this year's PAC Championship Tournament, W&J earned the PAC's automatic qualifying bid to the Division III Championship. Team selections for the Division III Championship are scheduled to be announced Sunday, May 23 with regional round play scheduled for Thursday-Monday, May 27-31.

W&J, winners of 14 straight and ranked No. 2 in the latest D3baseball.com/National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Top 25, will be making its eighth appearance in the Division III Championship.
