PAC Track Athlete of the Week

Dom Data • Geneva • Senior • New Castle, Pa. | Shenango Data posted a fifth-place finish in the 200 at Friday’s Youngstown State Icebreaker… His time of 22.37 seconds (converted from 21.97) is currently the No. 3 time on the NCAA Division III performance list… Data also finished 16th in the 60 with a time of 7.04, the 29th-best time in Division III.

Other notable performers from last week

Chatham senior Brett Seich (Van Meter, Pa. | Belle Vernon) was first in the 1000 (2:54.73) and fourth in the mile (4:50.99) at Mount Union… Franciscan graduate student Liam Galligan (Springfield, Pa. | Galligan Academy) posted a personal-best time of 14:39.26 (14:48.67 converted) in the 5000 Friday at Youngstown State… It is the sixth-best time in Division III… Senior Noah Callinan (Dayton, Ohio | Kettering Fairmont) helped lead Grove City's efforts by taking 12th in the 5000 (16:50.39) at Youngstown State... Westminster senior Amon Sams (Chantilly, Va. | John Champe) was 23rd in the 60 (7.12) at Youngstown State… Waynesburg sophomore Isaiah Mathews (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Montour) finished fourth in the 60 (7.25) and fifth in the 200 (24.25) at West Virginia.

 

PAC Field Athlete of the Week

Giovanni Segura • Geneva • Senior • Pittsburgh, Pa. | Brentwood      Seguara finished 11th in the weight throw with a mark of 45 feet, 05 inches (13.84m) and 24th in the shot put (40-11.75, 12.49m) at the Youngstown State Icebreaker Friday.

Grove City senior Andrew Longjohn (Pittsburgh, Pa. | North Hills) was 20th in the long jump (6.31m) at Youngstown State… W&J sophomore Nate Sciarro (Beaver Falls, Pa. | Riverside) was 15th (6.75m) in the long jump at Youngstown State… Waynesburg freshman Adam Helbling (Bridgeville, Pa. | South Fayette) won the triple jump (11.95m), finished fifth in the long jump (5.77m) and seventh in the high jump (1.67m) at West Virginia.

   

PAC Rookie of the Week

Garrett Hillard • Waynesburg • Freshman • Greenville, Pa. | Greenville     Hillard finished as the runner-up in the weight throw with a toss of 31 feet, 01.75 inches (9.49m) and tied for fourth in the shot put with a throw of 35-08 (10.87m) Friday night at the West Virginia Open.

Francsican freshman David Di Nardo (Virginia Beach, Va. | Princess Anne) finished second in the 5000 (16:45.01) at Mount Union… Geneva freshman Desmond Lewis (Fort Worth, Texas | Saginaw) posted times of 7.16 in the 60 and 23.49 in the 200 at Youngstown State… Grove City freshman Ben Raduns (Farmington, N.Y. | Victor) placed 17th in the 3000 (9:55.32) and 18th in the mile (4:55.50)... W&J freshman Julian Paul (Pittsburgh, Pa. | Montour) was 20th in the 800 (2:03.97) at Youngstown State.
