The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Sofia Smotek • Hiram • Sophomore outside hitter • Independence, Ohio/Independence
Smotek led the Terriers to a 4-1 start to the season, totaling 79 kills, 43 digs and five service aces across five matches ... The sophomore posted her first double-double of the 2026 season with 21 kills and 10 digs in a five-set win over host Heidelberg on Friday before adding another double-double with 17 kills and 11 digs in Saturday’s sweep of Kalamazoo at the Great Lakes Crossover.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Kendra Klusch • Grove City • Senior middle blocker • Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled
Klusch helped the Wolverines to a perfect 5-0 week, averaging 1.21 blocks, 1.79 kills and 1.07 digs per set while hitting .328 ... The senior middle blocker totaled 17 blocks on the week, highlighted by an impressive seven solo-block performance in Saturday’s 3-0 sweep of RIT at the Saint Vincent Bearcat Challenge .... Klusch also recorded four blocks against both La Roche and Penn State Behrend.

Marissa Rish • Allegheny • Freshman right-side hitter/setter • Burton, Ohio/Berkshire
Rish began her collegiate career with an impressive triple-double in a four-set contest against Wooster on Tuesday ... The freshman right-side hitter/setter recorded 16 assists alongside 15 digs and 12 kills while also adding three aces and three blocks ... Rish totaled 61 assists, 30 digs, 29 kills, four aces and four blocks across the Gators' four matches at the Great Lakes Crossover this weekend.
