LEXINGTON, Ky. (pacathletics.org) – It was another strong year for Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) volleyball in the classroom with eight programs, including six women's and two men's, earning 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Awards.

The honor recognizes volleyball teams which maintain a year-long team grade point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale during the recently completed academic year. 

Headlining the PAC contingent on the list was Saint Vincent College, which was honored for the 14th overall and eighth consecutive year, the longest current streak of any PAC program. Matching Saint Vincent by making the list for the 14th time overall was Geneva College and Grove City College.

Allegheny College has the second longest streak among PAC schools after the Gators gathered their seventh straight accolade and 10th overall. Completing the list of women's programs to be honored is Westminster College, their 12th time overall and third straight and Washington & Jefferson College with its second consecutive and eight overall.

The PAC also saw a pair of men's programs receive the AVCA Team Academic Award. The two from the PAC be recognized were Geneva, who collected it for the sixth straight year, and Grove City, who was honored for the second year in a row.

A total of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams from across the U.S. were recipients of the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award.
