PAC Runner of the Week

Valancius placed first for Franciscan at the All-Ohio InterCollegiate Challenge at Cedarville University, placing 135th overall in the 420-runner field ... He crossed in a time of 27:36.3 in the first 8k of collegiate career, which was the 14th fastest time posted by a Division III freshman at the Challenge.

Bambeck, in his first season of cross country after only running track & field last year, was Allegheny's second finisher at the Ben Mourer '07 Memorial Classic when he placed 25th overall with an 8K time of 30:47.6.

Tyler Biss paced Allegheny at their home meet, the Ben Mourer '07 Memorial Classic when he finished eighth overall in the eight-kilometer race in 28:24.6 ... At the NCAA South Region Preview, Collin Dreese's top-10 finish helped lead Saint Francis to a sixth-place team finish, as he crossed the finish line in 26:05.5 to place sixth individually, the second consecutive meet in which Dreese recorded a top-10 finish ... Westminster's Phil Silvis registered a ninth-place finish at the Penn State Behrend Twilight Meet when he posted a time of 29:26.98.
