LOUISVILLE, Ky. (pacathletics.org) – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 386 student-athletes from 161 schools who comprise the 2026 NFCA Division III All-Region teams recently and eight players from Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) programs were among those recognized.
Three players collected First Team All-Region VII distinction, including Westminster College sophomore pitcher Cheyenne Piper (Latrobe, Pa./Ligonier Valley), Westminster sophomore second base Morgan O'Brien (Coraopolis, Pa./Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) and Bethany College junior third base Emma Jackson (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington). Three more were selected Second Team, which included Westminster junior catcher Faith Jones (Volant, Pa./Wilmington) and Geneva College senior pitcher Sophia Tvaroch (Newton Falls, Ohio/Newton Falls) and junior outfielder Molly Shelley (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point).
Completing the PAC representation on the All-Region teams was Bethany sophomore catcher Olivia Kidd (Akron, Ohio/Mogadore) and sophomore utility Trinity Edge (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) on the Third Team.
Now a two-time First Team All-Region selection, Piper was 19-5 with a 2.13 earned-run average (ERA), 19 complete games and seven shutouts this year. Her 19 victories were first in the PAC this season and third most among the program's single season leaders. A four-time PAC Pitcher of the Week selection in 2026, she fired her first collegiate perfect game in 10-0, six-inning game one win at Thiel on April 22, striking out eight on just 68 pitches. Her 187 strikeouts rank fourth in Division III this season while her strikeout-to-walk ratio (8.23) is No. 6 in Division III. For the second-straight year, Piper, a two-time PAC Pitcher of the Year selection, was named to the PAC's All-Tournament Team and earned Most Outstanding Player honors after going 3-0 with a 1.33 ERA, three complete games and 26 strikeouts during the Titans' run to its third-straight PAC title.
In earning her initial All-Region honor, O'Brien hit a PAC-best .488 (61-125) with 16 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 46 RBIs and 39 runs scored. Her 61 hits also topped the league, while her 1.219 OPS, 16 doubles, 46 RBIs were third-most in the league. O'Brien had 20 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games, and 12 multi-RBI games this season. Named the PAC Player of the Year, she was also named an All-Tournament team selection at the conclusion of this year's PAC Championship Tournament.
Jackson's First Team All-Region VII award came after started all 42 games for the Bison and earned First Team All-PAC honors as well. Jackson led the Bison in most statistical categories, including hits with 60, RBIs with 51, doubles with 14, home runs with 10, and batting average with .455. Her 10 homers and 51 RBIs led the conference and are new single-season program records, as well as her .788 slugging percentage on the year. Jackson also scored 30 runs and finished the year with a team-best .535 on-base percentage. She was named PAC Hitter of the Week on March 16 and also earned a spot on the 2026 PAC All-Tournament Team.
Jones, a two-time First Team All-PAC and Second Team All-Region selection, hit .405 (53-131) with 18 doubles, a triple, 17 RBIs and 43 runs scored. Her 18 doubles lead the PAC and rank No. 2 on program's single season list while her 43 runs scored are second-most in the PAC. Jones posted 15 multi-hit games, including a pair of four-hit games and had a career-best 16-game hitting streak earlier in the season. Jones was named to the PAC's All-Tournament Team for the second-straight year.
Tvaroch put together the best season of her career in her final year as a Golden Tornado. She was the leading pitcher in the conference in ERA, finishing with a sparkling 1.42 ERA while allowing just a .199 batting average against. She finished the year with a 17-3 overall record, allowing just 85 hits in 118 innings pitched and striking out 91. Tvaroch added seven complete games and four shutouts, while also posting two saves. She was also named a First Team All-PAC selection.
Shelley was often the spark for the Geneva offense this season, batting at the top of the lineup. When Shelley got on base, she often stole second and third bases, finishing the year with a school record 59 stolen bases. She also broke the career stolen base record and now sits at 154 career steals, with still one season to go. For the year, she batted .361 with a .402 on-base percentage, adding 13 doubles, one triple and four home runs, while scoring 44 runs and driving in 23 RBIs. Shelley also was one of the top defensive centerfielders in the region and was named a First Team All-PAC selection.
Kidd also receives her first all-region selection after starting all 42 games and being named to the All-PAC First Team in 2026. She batted .404 on the year to finish second on the team and recorded 59 hits with 33 RBIs, which were both also second-best marks for the Bison this year. Kidd tallied 13 doubles, a team-best two triples, and two home runs while also scoring 35 runs and stealing a team-leading 11 bases. From behind the plate, she caught 12 runners stealing, which was the best in the PAC.
Edge was the final representative for Bethany on the All-Region VII team for her first NFCA accolade. This season, she started 41 games while leading the Bison pitching staff with a 17-6 record. Edge pitched 150.1 innings that included 19 complete games and two shutouts. She finished the year with a 2.61 ERA and struck out a team-leading 136 batters. Offensively, Edge was fourth among qualified hitters with a .348 batting average and 49 hits that included nine doubles, a triple, and four home runs. She drove in 27 and scored 34 runs while also leading the team with 11 stolen bases. Edge was named the PAC Pitcher of the Week on April 13 and was also selected to the 2026 PAC All-Tournament Team.
