TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - After another undefeated run through regular season conference play, Grove City College has secured the top seed for the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
The Wolverines, who have not dropped a PAC regular season game since the league began sponsoring men’s lacrosse in 2018-19, finished with a perfect 9-0 conference mark and an 11-7 overall record. Grove City enters the postseason riding a 52-game PAC regular season winning streak while also seeking its sixth consecutive PAC Tournament title after last year’s championship run, which culminated with a 22-7 win over Chatham in the title game.
Quarterfinals – Saturday, April 25, 2026
The 2026 tournament expands to include a first round, with two quarterfinal games at campus sites:
No. 6 Allegheny (6-9, 4-5 PAC) at No. 3 Saint Vincent (9-6, 7-2 PAC) – 1 p.m.
No. 5 Franciscan (8-8, 5-4 PAC) at No. 4 Westminster (11-6, 6-3 PAC) – 7:30 p.m.
- Saint Vincent hosts Allegheny Saturday afternoon in the opening quarterfinal. The Bearcats won the regular season meeting by a 14-6 score on their home field back on March 28th.
- Saturday's second quarterfinal will have Franciscan, who qualified for its first PAC Tournament in program history, traveling to Westminster. The Titans won the match-up during the year, downing Franciscan 17-9 on April 8th.
Semifinals – Wednesday, April 29, 2026
The top seeds will host semifinal contests at 7 p.m.:
Saint Vincent/Allegheny winner at No. 2 Chatham (13-3, 8-1 PAC)
Westminster/Franciscan winner at No. 1 Grove City (11-7, 9-0 PAC)
- Chatham earned the No. 2 seed for the second year in a row after matching the program's single-season record for wins originally set last year.
- Grove City has now earned the top seed all seven years the PAC Tournament has been held.
Championship – Saturday, May 2, 2026
The semifinal winners will meet for the PAC Championship on Saturday, May 2, hosted by the highest remaining seed. Game time will be announced following the semifinal round. The PAC Sports Network will have the free-to-view broadcast of the title tilt.
The winner of the PAC Championship Tournament will earn the league's automatic-qualifying bid to the Division III Championship. The field for this year's Division III Championship will be announced Sunday, May 3rd, with first round games scheduled for Wednesday, May 6th, while second and third round games will be played May 9-10.
