TRAFFORD, Pa. (pacathletics.org) - Washington & Jefferson College sophomore defensive lineman Alex Boyce (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) earned a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week for the second consecutive week following another outstanding performance in the Presidents' victory last Saturday.

In addition to being Boyce's second straight week on the national Team, this is the fourth time this season the PAC had players selected for the Team of the Week.

Boyce racked up a pair of tackles for loss, one and a half sacks, five tackles and a quarterback hurry in a 55-0 shutout victory over Geneva. The Presidents limited the Golden Tornadoes to 56 yards of total offense, forced a pair of turnovers and limited them to just eight completed passes, as well aas only three first downs and 1-of-14 on third-down conversions.

His effort Saturday continued Boyce's fine year to date. He is the PAC leader with 5.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles-for-loss while also compiling 18 total tackles and four quarterback hurries.

With Boyce fueling the defense, the Presidents are off to a 3-1 start this season. The W&J defense, which has three consecutive shutouts at home dating back to the 2025 season, leads the PAC in scoring (8.3 points), total defense (212.0) and passing defense (134.5).
