NEW ORLEANS, La. (pacathletics.org) - A total of 11 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) programs and 10 student-athletes were honored when the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its All-Academic Athletes and All-Academic Teams for the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country season.

The 11 programs included six women's teams, highlighted by the 2025 PAC Cross Country co-champion Washington & Jefferson College, who finished with a 3.68 GPA in the fall semester. Also highlighting the All-Academic teams were two PAC programs ranking in the top 20 among the 216 on the list, including Waynesburg University, who tied for 15th with a 3.82 GPA, and Saint Vincent College, who compiled a 3.79 team GPA to rank 19th.

The five men's programs receiving All-Academic Team distinction were led by Saint Vincent, who was 11th among the 190 recognized teams with a 3.72 team GPA.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers. To qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

Among the 10 PAC runners to collect All-Academic recognition included two women who qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships. W&J senior Claire Anderson adds this to a lengthy list of honors this year, which included the USTFCCCA Women's Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Athlete of the Year. Anderson, a political science and philosophy double major at W&J, earned her second career All-American honor when she placed third at national championships, which is believed to be the highest finish ever by a PAC at the NCAA meet.

The other female PAC runner to qualify for NCAAs who earned All-Academic laurels was Saint Vincent sophomore Grace Neubert (engineering), who finished 108th out of 290 runners at NCAA Championships.
