The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2026 season.
PAC Offensive Player of the Week
Ezra Oesterling • Thiel • Sophomore outside hitter • Shelocta, Pa./West Shamokin
Oesterling averaged 3.27 kills per set while hitting an efficient .248 in the Tomcats’ 2–2 opening weekend at Wittenberg’s Jim Coleman Memorial Invitational ... The sophomore outside hitter opened the 2026 campaign with a double-double in a five-set victory over Eastern Mennonite, recording 18 kills on .324 hitting with 13 digs and two service aces ... He followed with nine kills, eight digs, and three aces against Westminster (MO) ... On Saturday, Oesterling led all hitters with 17 kills on a .375 clip in a sweep of Marian, adding nine digs, four blocks (one solo, three assisted) and two aces ... He capped the weekend with five kills, six digs, two service aces, and a block against host Wittenberg.

PAC Defensive Player of the Week
Tieg Malcolm • Grove City • Senior middle blocker • New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled
Malcolm totaled 18 blocks to average 1.29 blocks per set in the opening weeks of the 2026 season for the Wolverines ... The senior recorded three total blocks (one solo, two assisted) to go along with seven kills, a dig, and a service ace in Grove City’s sweep of Cairn on January 10, then added five kills, five digs, and another ace in the second match of the day against Messiah ... Malcolm followed with five blocks, five kills, and two digs against Baldwin Wallace on January 17 before capping the weekend with an impressive 10 blocks (four solo, six assisted), four kills, two digs, and two service aces versus Elizabethtown.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Joshua Stowe • Geneva • Freshman outside hitter • Nicholasville, Ky./West Jessamine
Stowe opened his collegiate career with 20 kills (1.82 kills per set) and 19 digs to help Geneva to a 2–1 opening week of play ... The freshman recorded nine digs along with six kills and a service ace in Tuesday’s contest at Mount Union ... On Friday, Stowe posted seven digs, six kills on .231 hitting, and three service aces in a 3–1 win over Bridgewater (Va.), then capped the night with eight kills on a .375 hitting, three service aces, three digs, and two assisted blocks in a sweep over Carlow.

Geneva's Andrew Ubinger posted his first double-double of the season with 18 assists and 10 kills in the four-set win over Bridgewater (Va.) on Friday ... Saint Vincent's Shawn McSwiggen recorded his first double-double to open the season for the Bearcats with 19 kills and 10 digs against Trine on Saturday ... Thiel's Kaleb Proudfoot hit an impressive .550 on Saturday against Wittenberg recording 12 kills on 20 swings.
