Dye Hired As Hiram Head Men's Volleyball Coach Dye To Serve As Hiram Head Men's & Women's Volleyball Coach Beginning This Fall 6/4/2025 11:45:00 AM HIRAM, Ohio (pacathletics.org) - Hiram Athletics announced the hiring of Brittany Dye '10 as its head men's volleyball coach, an addition to her current roles as head women's volleyball coach and Hiram's Director of Volleyball Operations. "Brittany is a great fit for both our men's and women's volleyball programs this upcoming season and beyond," Director of Athletics Scott Pohlman said. "Her experience as a player and coach at multiple levels of competition will continue to be valuable to our student-athletes. We also look forward to watching her coaching staff lead both teams to winning seasons." Dye has logged six seasons as Hiram College's head women's volleyball coach, while also spending one season as the Terriers interim men's volleyball coach in 2020. In that 2020 campaign, Dye led the team to a 5-2 record at home and 9-9 overall record in the program's third season of competition. Tom Supan was named to the All-AMCC First Team in that season, while Cory Fischer was named the AMCC Libero of the Year and also a member of the All-AMCC First Team. "I am very excited to coach the men again," Dye said. "They are a great group and I hope to build both the men's and the women's teams into championship contenders in the PAC next year." Throughout her tenure with the women's volleyball program, Dye has found success with a double-digit win total and five NCAC Tournament berths in each of the team's five full seasons of competition. Upon completing the 2025 season this fall, Dye will become the third-longest tenured head coach in the history of the women's program, trailing only Bill Proverbs (15 seasons) and Ellen Dempsey (11 seasons). Dye has led five All-NCAC student-athletes with the women's volleyball program, including Kiara Franks (2021), Kayla Cole (2021), Mackenzie Brannon (2022), Emily Richardson (2022, 2023, 2024) and Cate Maguire (2023, 2024). Dye also was the program's assistant coach in 2018, when the Terriers went 23-5 and advanced to the finals of the NCAC Tournament. "One reason that I chose to pursue coaching both the men and women is that I have an incredibly supportive staff around me, including long-time assistant Holly Hoffman, graduate assistant Macy Roell, and our newest addition, Paige Cole," Dye said. "Holly, Macy and Paige bring a wealth of knowledge and experience that will create a positive, competitive culture for both programs." Dye graduated from Hiram College in 2010 after a four-year playing career with the program, which included two seasons as a team captain. She helped the Terriers to a 2006 NCAC Tournament Championship as well as NCAA Tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007. Dye was also named to the All-NCAC Tournament Team in 2009. Following her collegiate career, Dye was the head women's volleyball and basketball coach at Crestwood High School (Mantua, OH) for eight years. Dye led the Red Devils to three conference titles, a district championship, and a regional final runner-up. With Dye at the helm, Hiram men's volleyball will return to the PAC with big aspirations in 2026 following another winning season this past season. Contributed by Hiram Sports Information
