Sundin placed fourth at the Bethany Invitational, the top showing by a Division III competitor in the 56-runner event ... Racing a time of 27:09.8 for the Bearcats, he was only beaten to the finish line by three runners from Division II West Liberty and helped SVC finish second as a team.

Bruns placed eighth at the Bethany Invitational in his first 8K collegiate race on Saturday ... His time of 27:53.1 was the fastest among the NCAA Division III freshmen at this meet.
