Week 1 PAC Honors (for events between August 29-31)
The weekly award winners have been recognized for their performances during Week 1 of the 2025 season.
PAC Player of the Week
Adriana Navarro • Allegheny • Sophomore • Distrito Central, Honduras/DelCampo School
Navarro went undefeated and led all Gators with six combined wins during the Allegheny Invitational ... She only dropped one game in three doubles matches, highlighted by a pair of 6-0 victories ... Navarro won all three singles matches in two sets with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Baldwin Wallace's Saraphina Groh, a 6-2, 6-2 win over BWU's Olivia Koutouras, and a 6-2, 6-3 win against Oberlin's Hannah Soong.

PAC Newcomer of the Week
Gabrielle Bassette • Allegheny • Freshman • Miami, Fla./Miami Country Day School
Bassette compiled a 5-1 overall record during the Allegheny Invitational ... The first-year Gator was undefeated in three singles matches, highlighted by a 7-6 (5), 6-4 victory over Division II Walsh's Eliza Verstappen and a 6-0, 6-1 win against Oberlin's Scarlett Kingston ... Her only doubles loss came against D-II Walsh and Bassette's doubles wins included fighting for a tiebreak victory against Oberlin in a 7-6 (2) win, before beating the Oberlin team of Eva Lopez and Olivia Guzman, 6-2.

PAC Records & Milestones
In Franciscan's season-opening sweep over Pitt-Greensburg, Claire Cardie teamed with Kina Ehlers for a 6-3 triumph at No. 1 doubles before a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles (7-6, 6-0), while Audrey Huckestein won her first collegiate singles match in straight sets at fifth singles ... Geneva first-year head coach Nate Heidengren earned his first career victory as head coach on Friday night when the Golden Tornadoes opened the year with a 7-0 sweep over Carlow ... In the Geneva win, Chloe DeSanzo at No. 1 and Abigail Anderson at No. 5 were straight-set winners in singles.
