CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (pacathletics.org) - The Allegheny College and Washington & Jefferson College women's golf programs earned academic recognition when both placed in the top 10 of the 2024–25 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division III All-Scholar Team GPA Award standings.

The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA, including all of the team's student-athletes for the 2024–25 season.

Allegheny concluded the academic year with a 3.813 GPA, ranking seventh among all Division III programs, while W&J compiled a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.78 during the 2024-25 academic year to place 10th on the WGCA All-Scholar Top 25 in NCAA Division III women's golf. Ithaca College captured the team title with a 3.917 GPA.

The PAC was one of two Division III conferences to have multiple schools in the Top 10 of the WGCA All-Scholar Top 25. Also placing two programs inside the Top 10 was the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) with Edgewood College ranking second and Benedictine University tying for fifth.

Both programs were also well represented when the WGCA announced its All-American Scholars earlier this summer. Earning the honor for Allegheny was Ada Coté (West Henrietta, N.Y./Rush-Henrietta), Payton Essman (Hamburg, N.Y./Nardin Academy), and Kessler Potter (Kents Store, Va./Fluvanna County). They were joined by five W&J golfers, including Dinah Bailey (Baden, Pa./Ambridge), Julia Barthelemy (Crescent, Pa./Moon Area), Antolena Damico (Irwin, Pa./Penn Trafford), MacKenzie Schmeltz (Edwardsburg, Mich./Saint Joseph) and Lauren Tekely (Glendale, W.Va./John Marshall) on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
