Game A - No. 4 Allegheny 3, No. 5 Bethany 2
The opening game of the Tournament saw Allegheny senior Olivia Devries belt a two-run homer in the first inning and hit an RBI single in the third inning for a 3-0 Gator lead. The Bison moved within a run at 3-2 following RBI doubles by freshman Bella Juozapaitis in the fifth inning and junior Brooke Markland in the sixth, but the tying run was stranded at second base in the seventh inning, as Allegheny held on for the win. Earning the win in the circle was senior Aleya Belardinelli, who allowed two runs on eight hits with four Ks and zero walks in a complete game.

Game B - No. 6 Thiel 3, No. 3 Geneva 2
Game B followed a similar script as the first game, with Thiel jumping out to a 3-0 lead and fending off a rally attempt to win and advance. The Tomcats jumped in front on a two-run homer in the first by Dani Ficeti and a sacrifice fly by Makenna Oswalt in the sixth, but Geneva plated a pair in the bottom of the sixth when Molly Shelley scored following a double by Kyra Wilcox, who scored later on a passed ball. Shelley came to the plate again in the seventh with the tying run on first base, but Thiel's Jensen Stehlik made a great catch on a drive into left-center field for the final out and advanced Thiel in the Tournament. Tomcat starter Becca Landis hurled a complete game to pick up the win, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out 12.

Game C - No. 1 Grove City 7, No. 4 Allegheny 0
Powered by 14 hits, the No. 1 seed Wolverines scored four times in the second inning and twice in the third, as Grove City moved into the winners' bracket final with a 7-0 victory over Allegheny. Already leading 2-0 in the second, the four-run Wolverine outburst was capped with a two-run double from Brooke Brodie, who sparked Grove City at the plate by going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored. Another standout at the plate was Noel Anthony, who had three hits, including a double and a triple, and scored twice. That was more than enough support for Wolverine starting pitcher Abigail Meadors, who threw a three-hit shutout with six Ks and a pair of walks.

Game D - No. 2 Westminster 11, No. 6 Thiel 0 - 5 inn.
The defending champions Westminster opened defense of their title by scoring seven runs in the fourth inning to help finish off an 11-0 run-rule victory over Thiel in five innings. Posting three hits each in the win was Faith Jones, Jenna Boneysteele and Kelly Troup, while Jones, Sam Levac and Morgan O'Brien all knocked in two each. Westminster pitcher Cheyenne Piper was dominant in her first PAC Tournament start, allowing just one hit in five shutout innings while striking out five and not issuing a walk.

Friday's action starts with a pair of elimination games. First up in Game E is Geneva taking on Allegheny at 10 am, which is to be followed by Bethany facing Thiel at 12 pm. Those two winners will play at 4 pm in Game H, another elimination game.

Following the two early games will be the winner's bracket final between Grove City and Westminster. The teams split their twinbill in the regular season, with game one going to the Titans 2-0 and the Wolverines winning 9-4 in the second game.

The winner of this year's championship tournament title will secure the PAC's automatic qualifying bid to the Division III Softball Championship, with teams and regional site selections announced on Monday, May 12. Regional round play is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday, May 15-17 and the Super Regionals will be played Thursday-Friday, May 22-23.
